Layoffs are coming in 2 weeks. Nobody seems to realize?

It's obvious that the ELT played all of us. It's been done before and will happen again.

They announce major layoffs, they know exactly how many, this time not so many, then they wait. They wait for us rats to jump off the ship. They tried to get the tenured highest paid to retire early. Not too successful, it was poorly thought through.

When we jump ship, they save bundles of cash not paying severance. That's a huge incentive for them to play this evil game.

Just realize the truth about this company, if not just for a lucid moment, before you go back to sipping your blue kool-aid.

I might jump over to Exact for their open GI positions. Heard they are looking for tenured reps. Base pay starting at 125k.

Why don't they just tell everyone where they are placed already? Do they think anyone is focused out there?

They’re hoping some leave to avoid severance. This is all one big game played every year.
It’s a purging of the bottom 10% and the extra, unneeded reps in certain geographies the easy way....no lawsuits, no “ plans”, etc.
All the companies are doing the same.

So they did tell us way too early. So when do we find out? Beginning of April or end of April? Kinda wish we all knew the exact date.[/QUOTE
Carl said mid April on the webex, best guess is Friday April 12. The termination date is June 21. April 23 is 60 days from June 21, but they need to have the territories Veeva alignments in before the end of April. The notification date could be April 19 but that puts everything into rush mode.

This gamesmanship goes back to the Jack Welsh era at GM. Where every year GM would purge the bottom 10%. It's BS in Pharma because of the nature of the numbers and cycle of good years to bad. You just hope...your in a mid to good year when it happens.

Jack Welsh has ruined more careers w/ this type of management tactic. Just look at where the Company is today.

Welch at General Electric. His basic strategy (1 or 2 or you're out) rid the company of lackluster businesses but also led to "book cooking." The remaining divisions baked numbers to hang on. Bottom purge isn't a bad idea since termination for non-performance impossible.

Now the.countsown begins...the managers get the calendar on Tuesday.

Who cares? So some will have their jobs for another year and others will move on to another Pharma company and have a job there for another year. This job isn’t a career, folks.
Pharma “sales” has been circling the drain for awhile. Access sucks so there’s no reason for 5-6 reps in an office that won’t see one. We’re lunch and samplers, that’s it. Amazon will soon be delivering both for us very soon. The gig is up.
Start putting more fairy tales in your resume and on LinkedIn; clean up all the stupid shit you put on Twitter and Facebook to make yourself look like an intelligent adult, or you’ll be an Uber driver the rest of your life.

Ouch...ur post is highly accurate. Only flaw is the assumption that driving for Uber for the next 10 years would suck. Compared to what Ive been doing here for decades...it would be more rewarding and probably almost as lucrative based on my last meeting with my tax man.
