Upper management is extremely unprofessional. Company is lacking in career development, lots of favoritism, very long hours, everything is urgent. Lots of pressure and no appreciation on any task given.
company mired in the 80s, company tries to control every aspect of our work. Company slow to adopt good programs, the different depts. do not WOKK together.
If you can love your job but hate the company you work for, come to Quest Diagnostics. I have a great customer base, but mgmt fails to recognize and reward success. Top heavy company where Sr Mgmt has no clue how to market products. Promote only those who kiss a**.
since j and j bought us it's nothing but layoffs and new managers that don't give a ratsass about the employees. They call themselves a company that cares and want to encourage time spent with your family. by making a 6 day work week i see my kids one day out of the week! the whole 'we care about you and your family' part of the CREDO you're so obsessed over is a LIE
I like my job tasks, less stressful than most here. However stress levels are going up, shown by the amount of people taking short term disability for stress/mental wellness. I am not happy with the pay to cost of living ratio. Cost of living goes up but our pay stays the same. also, i have worked here for 17 years and new hires are coming in just under what i make an hour.
They displaced me from a job that I loved and excelled at for absolutely no reason. Worst part was I had gotten exceptional reviews and they failed to acknowledge that with a legitimate raise. Very disappointed with the lack of transparentcy as well.
Well, veeeeery disorganized and incompetence everywhere. And i am not speaking only about management. Incompetence is on all levels.
Is just a nightmare. Only inertia makes, somehow, things working.
Managers play favorites. Selling ways is a subjective. You can have a bad manager who spends 1/2 a day with you and will write all the things they didn't see in 2 hours over breakfast talking about themselves.
My manager is unfair, creates a horrible work environment and culture of in-fighting and lack of teamwork, upper management lacks the ability to explain a clear vision for the future and a why behind our goals.
I am very disappointed with the management and how they were not supportive to an individual who is on a medical leave.
I understand it is all about business and how business comes first but being supportive will give a personnel like myself a sense of loyalty and dedication to the company; especially in pharmaceutical industry. I guess this is what everybody says. "You live and You learn." I spoke to my parents who were Ivy league graduate with multiple master. To get their perspective and they have stated it is what it is.
