Product copy cat company, with minimal innovative products getting launched. Horrible mgd care strategies (except with National Payors). Goals distributed based on market potential without adjustments for mgd market limitations. Most managers are incompetnet, can NOT help you, and play favorites...like high school never ended. Ugh!!!
Maybe I am old school...I still find it noble talking to my docs(Med Oncs and Hems)about my products. Identifying or helping to identify the appropriate patient and then hearing about how patients are doing. I know there is a ton of crap out there(Compliance; Competition; Payors; Etc) but I still enjoy the discussion and getting a doc to use my products for their patients.
The best thing about gilead was that it was a small company that didn’t have a lot of the big pharma bullshit. Also the stock was doing great and you could make alot of.money. That is no longer the case and the newest executive Managers suck really bad.
GSK was once a great company with strong leadership, best in class products with an engaging culture. However that was the GSK of the past. It's no wonder they stopped playing the Proud song "What have you done today to make you feel proud" as those left with any tenure are holding out hoping they can retire with medical benefits
