When I want to be entertained, I go to the theatre, take in a movie, find a comedy club or enjoy a concer. And yes, I admit that some of the Cafepharma posts are pretty humorous. Agreed! Leadership is stuck in another era of operating this business. We need new and fresh ideas so that we can evolve and only then can we really say we are the leaders in this industry.I just read yesterday that some 19 year old "stoner" as the media put it, hacked the head of the CIA's AOL account. They should hire this kid! It reminded me of some of these old hacks running labcorp who won't change and listen to their young employees. They still think it's 1999 and AOL is still relevant. Just goes to show you that people protecting this country and making the laws for it, have no idea that the young people know more about cybersecurity and technology, then they do. Time to revamp and get some people that are current with the year 2015 and fresh ideas, both in his country and at this company. Labcorp still runs most of its company with paper forms and faxes..... Baffling!

Listen to you're people that have fresh ideas - they are the ones in the trenches doing the work - you are not! The best companies and managers hire really talented people, compensate them well, and give them a platform, all the tools to succeed and then get of their way and let them produce. This company does the exact opposite. They don't hire very talented people, in fact they keep people hanging around that are so far removed from current events, they mirco manage and dont train their people or invest in them. The result is a stale musty company not realizing that Y2K has come and gone and internet companies no longer offer dial up modem service. Labcorp's # 1 problem is their employee relation skills are so poor and that bleeds into every other part of the business. Morale is poor, employee engagement is terrible, and customers think labcorp is cheap and provides shotty service. They treat employees like we should thank them for allowing us to work here and that is what customers see as a byproduct of Labcorp's culture. I am telling this place to pound sand soon and leaving this place in my rear view mirror.
Sounds like the Peter Principle is live and well at labcrap.I have worked for a couple of medical sales companies and i can honestly say labcorp is hands down the worst. Grading it on the management, comp plan, culture, and professionalism of co workers, it is definitly the worst. There are some good people who work their tail off in home office, sales, and phlebotomy, but it is really few and far between and doesn't make it worthwhile. I actually feel sorry for those people because the conpany just piles for on them because of their talent and work ethic and let the slugs just hang around and collect a paycheck. This company needs a fresh start.

Management style is somewhat an issue because it supports the illegalities, but the nature of illegal activity is why the OIG would get involved. How does it feel to work for the mob?
