It takes strength to recognize the truth. It's ok if you prefer to settle. Change has more of an impact and certainly not something that weak individuals would even try to take on, so NO - the ones who leave are not weak. Open your eyes son, stop being so niave.

You're a loser! Labcorp is a bottom feeding organization. Good luck when you go to a recruiter for a new position or have to explain to a new employer why you worked here. They all know it is a used car factory with uneducated people and poor service. Have fun with those new zip codes

Yeah I guess figuring out how to make the job here work for me is just crazy. I guess I am a lazy loser because I have no stress in my life and I am happy as hell. Gee I guess I have to whine like a little girl more and then I will gain some respect. You can all go find other jobs. Me....l'm sticking around. This job is a cake walk. Have fun traveling and getting tested on the medical device manuals you have to read. I'm done at 2pm and I have an awesome marriage and great life. No workload here baby and I love it. Guess that makes me a loser. Kiss my butt. If this is bottom of the barrel then I can't even imagine what I good job is. I don't need anymore money. I don't need recognition and I don't need a great boss telling me what to do and/or to support me. Been through hell elsewhere and again this is a damn cake walk.

Don't get to comfortable with your easy job while producing very little. You are in the minority at labcorp, so be careful when they decide they can hire someone younger and pay them less. They always find the employees who hang around not doing much and just collect a paycheck. Kudos to you but can't see that lasting too long

My straight line is very high. Production is high. It's just an easy job. You can make this work. Yes the comp plan is a total crap shoot but it averages to a decent living. Obviously there are better positions out there. Just pisses me off when people start saying everyone who works here are losers and bottom dwellers. Just very stupid comments. I make strong 6 figures for a company that ain't going anywhere. I work a few hours a day. To me that's not too bad.

I will tell you what is going on, The corporate Ass*%^#s don't give a damn about you. This is about the quarterly profits and making the shareholders happy. Just squeeze everyone that is the name of the game. If you do well they will figure out a way to pay you less. A quality Laboratory sales representivive would never work for LabCorp. You get your feet wet and try to learn the business, that is it. Why is it when any purchase is made by LabCorp they seem to lose all the quality people? Because they don't pay, they have pay scales and do not deviate from those scales. Wake up and leave this company, you will never be able to take care of your family or even build a career. A true nightmare of a company to work for, and that goes for almost any large publicly traded company. Eventually they S*@T on sales reps. What they don't realize is that we knock on doors and establish relationships. Not the management in the board room.

I agree with everything you said. Only thing i will add is that even though we knock on doors while management sits in the board room cutting employee and operational costs, they also had you sign a non-compete when you started which basically hamstrings you within your geography and industry for a year or 2. They usually dont hold up in court but labcorp will pay to fight and you will probably win but it will cost you. They have all their bases covered. It's a corrupt dispocable company. Just my two cents
 






It is clear they really don't give a damn about their ppl. It comes down to $$$ and what better way than to underpay and overwork staff. It's time to jump this sinking ship!

Not all their bases, you need to be smart. You need to be quiet, do not make the mistake of thinking anyone is your friend , don't tell a soul! Bs what you are doing. If you are talented and work more than a full day you will get business if you are working for a quality private company. No one at Lab Corp work v very hard. They are all upset with the corpor ate BS.

Be honest with yourself and you will come to a conclusion, either your happy making 75-100 doing very little or you want to make enough money to actually support a family and even save for your future. This is not going to happen at quest, lab Corp or any other large corporate operation.

This is not rocket science, you need to be out going, solve problems and listen to your prospects. Then follow up and follow through. Taking business from lab Corp is like taking candy from a baby. Frankly put, it's child's play.
