Agree. They wouldn’t even let internal people apply. Shows you what he thinks of our skill set and capabilities. He is a worthless leader. I watched the “insight” video and about vomited watching him spew his bs!

Same with the market development team. All outsiders with no more experience than pharma rep, but they are paid more than an RM.
The one I have developing Doctors to speak is doing a horrible job. The new highly acclaimed cornea doc who spoke at my program does not use much Xiidra and it’s not a first line choice!??! Why is this doc being pushed as a speaker. First question asked the doc tells the audience that restasis is the drug of choice???
 






Mike is a great guy, trying to right a ship that has been of course from the likes of Perrry and KK and their minions. MCs greatest mistake was overestimating the talent in the OBU. He’s now realizies he has an entitled salesforce that is always in need of constant direction. Built by two of pharma’s biggest rejects, Perry and KK. A salesforce built from B&L, a misfit eye care company. Don’t get me wrong, some good people came from there but the majority are rejects that couldn’t make the cut at Alcon or Allergan. All of you mother fuckers are replaceable, ear shit at Kala, Eyepoint, and Eyevance. We might have a job for you in a year in our cafeteria.

You’re right. We are just stupid reps and don’t have solutions and have no idea what we’re doing. But if MC got in the field or in front of a customer once in a while he might figure out the solutions. Get the fuck over yourselves

First of all, I never called you stupid.

Second of all, I AM A REP. And lastly he does meet customers all of the time. He may not get in your car (I’m sure because it smells like McDonalds and cat piss) but he does meet with our customers ALL of the time. He met with one of mine ( a big restasis loyalist) at a society meeting and was instrumental in changing his attitude towards X. All it took was an email to my ZD who had sent us a list with available lunch and dinner slots and wow, what the fuck do you know, MC was out to dinner with him. You obviously don’t know how to leverage your resources and are quick to complain and point fingers. I’m not saying it’s perfect here, far fucking from it. But to put the blame squarely on his shoulders and call him names like “D bag” is immature and unfair

I admit I’ve never spoken to him and I’ve also never called him a name but....MC is VP of Sales so YES - it does fall on his shoulders when moral is low, engagement is low, motivation is low, communication is minimal, bonus payout is low, and turnover is high!
