I don’t blame reps for having such a narrow lens on the OBU inner workings. You’re pointing the finger at the wrong person. Your disdain should be focused on Perry, the architect of the obu dysfunction from the inception. From structure to personnel. Areas that don’t have quick fixes too and ultimately won’t see true change until the acquisition goes through. Similar outcomes have occurred in the NBU
Goals are a direct reflection of our forecast set by Perry and Fleming. Mike has to meet those forecast regardless of how unrealistic they are. Most reps cannot comprehend that. Talk to a NBU rep about their goals, same shit, different unit. Perry and Flem are book cookers.
Studies are created and funded by our Medical team which reports to a global head, a complete misaligned clusterfuck. With that, new studies aren’t completed overnight. Those post approval studies should of been sourced and funded before launch. Regardless, Mike has zero control over that. Are you familiar on the role of a sales VP? Our useless Managed care team reports to a separate business unit and has zero accountability to Mike or John. Things are happening to change these dynamics but it’s a process.
