MC - Thoughts?

Somebody really has a hard-on for the guy. I’m sure I’ll get slammed for this - but I took notes during the 2017 fireside chat, and all sense then. It wasn’t just MC on stage but the OBU leadership. Here’s what they said:

- they would open up Iview for the field (done)
- create a 4th zone (done)
- create KAM role (done)
- create FAM role (done)
- create a ZA role (done)
- start a culture team (done)
- move us away from month to month goals - to a regular quarterly IC plan (done)
- they said they are here to build a eyecare franchise with multiple products (not done)

Not sure where your “over promise” is coming from but don’t let these facts get in the way of your hate and ignorance.


Creating new roles is not the answer.
The IC plan was horrible and caused more dissent and unhappiness.
Multiple products? That was an outright lie.
 






Where do you get this 10%. NUmber? What did you poll the field? Nothing is or will be released so how do you know the number? Its like me saying 79.8% of people on CP are full of crap. In actuallity its 99.7%

It’s not hard to figure out. Do you use iView? Do you know the reps in the field? Do you have a ranking report? Find the people who are at 100% to goal and calculate what percent of the sales force that is. It IS less than 10%. Of course it’s getting harder to tell since they aren’t marking territories as vacant. Many territories are being dissolved but are still showing as intact in the reports.

There are so many issues that are unreported in the OBU right now. There is one region where the manager, the KAM and all but one rep resigned. There are regions with 2, 3 or 4 people left. There are dissolved territories that have not been realigned in several Quarters of business. The customers there are not getting serviced. Some KAMS are manning a few top accounts in these areas. It’s a mess. The exodus is not due to a sell out. Everyone in pharma deals with those situations. It’s about the poor leadership, lack of bonus, boredom with dry eye, lack of managed care, Ask Iiris, Pillpack. Mostly broken promises.
No confidence. No trust.
 






So fucking true. You’re all whiny shit bags and shame on you for calling out people by name on this and all the other threads.
Do the rest of us a favor and quit. Couldn’t agree more, things can only improve when all the rotting fruit finally falls off the vine

Exactly, Iview does not tell you what someones goal was or is. You can see numbers and growth but rhat does not show you what their % to goal is. You need a hobby to keep you busy.

Since this is an anonymous board, you don’t know who I am, but not who you assume. I did in fact, ask. My RM played dumb, as I expected him to. So I asked reps. I asked what % to goal they are. I’ve asked how many are left in their Regions. Info is not hard to obtain if you ask and use your data. When you find that people in the PC ranking are not 100% to goal, it’s not too hard to assess that most are not hitting quota. But coming up with the percentage is a little tougher since territories are listed by city, not by rep and none are showing vacant. You can look at job listings, but that gets you nowhere because so many are not listed.
But you can guarantee if the top 20 list is not making bonus, then it’s below 10%.

Last time I worked with my ZD I asked him if 10% had hit 100%. He said no. He did not want to discuss how many. He did not know how many reps had left. He does, or at least a round about figure, he did not want to verbalize it. Company line is look how many promotions we are giving in house!
That is because people are leaving and they are moving people around.

Not everyone who posts facts on CP is hatefilled. I for one, am still here. I hope to leave. Not because of a buy out, but because of poor management.

You can sing Kum ba Yah all you want. You can cheer them on all you want. The reality is the fireside chats were a performance to help soothe and keep people on board. Our data sources do give you info, not % to goal. No one said you could look up any % to goal.
Re read the post. You can look at data. You can look at rankings. You can ask people who are ranked what their % to goal is.

If #10 on the Presidents Club list is not hitting 100% to goal then there are problems. I am on the list. I did not hit goal. Neither did ALL the people after me.
Do some elementary math and you may not come up with an exact %, but you will see it’s less than 10%. Unless there are only 25 reps left in the OBU. We are getting closer to that number, lol, but not there yet.

I know how badly you want to claim how great things are going. On our last CC, MC admitted there were problems and explained. Face facts. Step off the company line, or should I say company lies and open you lids.

Those guys make a lot of mistakes net to keep this machine oiled. They have failed and have yet to come up with answers YET they keep making promises they cannot keep.
