forest suks. worst year of my life. switched comapnies for 13K raise and hospitals closer to home. Big mistake. would love my old job back. extra money isn't worth it. so much busy work. did 2 hours of admin bs on a saturday because my DM's has me and everyone else running scared. and what's with the role plays? did more role plays in 10 months at forest than 10 years at other companies. why do we need to role play for a week every 3 months? unreal
i like to roll play with chocolate rolos in my mouth!
candyman took 4 hour nap outside hospital today-had a few peanut M&M's and took a huge dump at the Radisson across the street, read the USA Today- got some Vitamin Waters and and almond joy from vending machine and faked a success story-another day in paradise!
I was kicked out of my hospital today for beating the damn vending machine. My kit-kat bar got stuck. Security asked to leave after i smacked the machine one final time after he told me to stop. One way out who i was and why i was in the hospital. I told him I was the cubacin rep and I came into the hospital because i was hungry. He looked at me like I was crazy...but he wrote down cubacin haha

Another 2 openings today! Anyone upstairs getting a clue to why in this horrible economy people are leaving and they are having a hard time filling the positions? Because the word is out that Forest hospital sales upper management is CRAZY and CLUELESS!!!
And it is just the beginning of the next big slew of resignations! What is Forest Hospital turnover up to now.....roughly 50-60%. I know three more resigning next week!!!!! 2-3 per week now!!!!!!
This is a normal routine at Forest - senior management hasn't quite learned how to keep a happy, productive sales force? This is what happens when you promote inexperienced morons all the way to the top.
Couldn't agree with you more! The people who are leading this salesforce have NEVER launched a new IV antibiotic in the hospital let alone in this new era of stewardship. What a bunch of f-ing morons!
I do not work for Forest. But have found their people to generally hard working, nice, people.
From the outside, I have watched the launch and pressure applied to the reps who were responsible for growing a new IV antibiotic. The company and teams were in a new environment and did not prepare well for the new "stewardship" that must be addressed prior to any success.
Getting your drug stocked in a hospital is a long way from getting your drug used.
It takes a good while to be recognized and approved. IV antibiotics are a far cry from selling Tessalon and hydrocodone.
