Sorry LTC reps, but the rest of us are glad to see you are part of the masses once again. Yeah, some of you were humble and busted your butts, but most of you thought you were "special" and untouchable because of the revenue generated in LTC. Unfortunately, it was discovered that revenue was independent of you, not because of you. Welcome back!
Most of the remaining LTC reps left enjoy the hospital position more than LTC . Those that loved LTC more or couldn't adapt are already gone or will be soon

I second that, I spend all of this week at the cafeteria at the new boutique ER center. Flat screen tv, workout facilities, sauna, gym, cant beat it. I joined as a member of the public with a discount for working in healthcare. <my own private health club with state of the art fitness when all of my "targets are already in the building and I can swoop in for those sig's in the morning, order up some lunch to be catered, swim a few laps, go pick up receipt after swim nad water core exercises and then a long steam and sauna. By then its 2-30-4 and my day is long over with my scripts and bud. spend all taken care off.....this is how you make it at this comp. anything less would be unrealistic and not one of us would last a day.
Some reps either demoted themselves back to territory sales spots or they went to outside pharma companies
Your posts are hilarious!!
love the new pretzel M&M's in the vendin machines
From the sound of things, the ones left behind aren't exactly kicking ass with sales either.
Not a former LTC rep but have one in my division. He is doing well. He is first in our division and ranked high. I only know 4 former LTC reps and two are tier one through August. That's in the top 10%. That's better than 90% of us, including me (and probably you). The guy in my division knows his stuff and has been very helpful. I'm sure some are not doing well, but that certainly is not unique with this drug. Two out of four in the top 10%. How is that "not exactly kicking ass with sales?"
Are you speaking of KT in the NE? If you are, the reason he has DOTs is because another rep in his division spoke to the Director of Pharmacy (DOP) at one of KT's accounts and told him to put TF on formulary. The DOP did it because of the relationship this rep had with him when he was selling Rocephin. So it wasn't KT's selling skills, although he is a nice guy, that got this on formulary. He caught a VERY lucky break....we could all use one!
First off, watch your tone with me. I am not the original poster who was slamming LTC reps. I was merely responding to your post. KT openly thanked JA (yes, in front of both divisions and DMs) for his help on this particular account that got TF on formulary. It came straight from KT's mouth. I know all about JA's work ethic. I knew about it before you did. Man up and stop acting like a little girl!
