CIBA VISION OPENINGS!!!

I haven't had a f2f yet, but I am willing to admit that the online assessment was tougher than I'd expected! The math part anyway... I never claimed to be a math whiz, but I didn't think I was remedial! Hmm, maybe so....

** I didn't prepare much for my inteview except to select my most tight fitting skirt along with a blouse that allowed my interviewers a very nice view of the girls if they chose to look, which of course they did. The four inch heels hurt my feet, but it was worth it.**

From their "feedback", I believe my interview went very, very well.

Good luck to the other applicants.

I just finished my interview in DC it was a great experience, organized and well run. I had Sally and Nancy for my first two interviews and they were both great. The first hour is just a regular interview and the second is the winery role play. Get the owner to say he is worried about going out of business, it makes the close easier. Then there is a second role play about selling a car, ask lots of questions thats the point of the second role play. The customer wanted to buy a team van with lots of cargo space for equiptment in mine.

I didn't do a business plan so not sure why not?

The third hour is a lot of "tell me a time" interview. Get past experiences that looked to be negative and tell how you turned it around for a sell. I was tired of interviewing by this point so didn't think I did very well. Also come with good questions to ask back but that should be obvious.

Hotel and flight were all paid for, and the give you and expense form at the end so keep all receipts. Got two different answers on salary range first one was 40k - 60k base and the second was up to 85k base so not sure.

Hope this helps.

I received a call yesterday from the Right Inc. yesterday about an interview next week in North Carolina. However, I haven't received anything regarding a flight, what to bring, etc. Does anyone have a contact number? Thanks!

Good luck and I hope you get an offer. I just wanted to point out that the interview process can be different for other candidates. Some had their "tell me a time" interivew in the first hour and not the third. I can say that I didn't see anyone do a role play in their first interivew though. It looks like someone with more experience in sales were given a business plan to do. Not sure...just a guess. The only thing that I was not able to figured out was how many interviews in the process would get you the job. Many candidates were done in the first interview and, from reading a previous thread, someone else who experienced this still got an offer. I still don't think it's a good sign if you didn't get through all phases for the interview but it's hard to say. With so many people there interviewing for multiple positions, how could they interview everyone three times even if you had a day when most did well on the first interview.

I interviewed in LA last Wed for a Chicago territory. I called the candidate care line & they informed me that there was nothing in the system regarding a decision being made about my interview. I was wondering if anyone at this hiring event got an offer or rejection letter yet?

I also interviewed on Wednesday in LA and have not heard one way or another. Kind of starting to lose hope though! I know of a rep (through a friend) that interviewed in LA and got an offer Monday or Tuesday. I would think that offers would have been made by now...maybe just not the rejections. A little disappointing!

for those of you who received offers. Can you share what the base is vs commission? Is it consistent with your current base and commission? Anything you can share would be appreciated.

I put in a phone call to "The Right Thing Inc" who Ciba Vision has outsourced their HR needs to & was told that the managers are still making final decisions. Waiting on an answer is nerve wrecking. The anticipation is killing me!

i agree about the anticipation! I was very gung ho about the job but now that over a week has passed I have developed some negative feelings. Not sure how I would feel if I got a call at this point. I think I have been trying to talk myself out of what a good gig it would be.

I agree. The anticipation is killing me. I was a part of the hiring event this week. Did anyone hear anything from this weeks interviews? Have any of their references been called?
