Used to love it, but the company doesn't pay even when your growing triple digits and to put the icing on the cake, the COO decides putting GPS trackers in the cars is a good idea. He doesn't know this aspect of veterinary medicine, so instead of telling the board the challenges in the US, he decides it's because the reps aren't working. You just told your entire team you don't trust them. With 17 reps, if management doesn't know who's working and not working, it isn't the reps who are the problem, it's management. Some people should not be in leadership roles because they do not know how to lead. Sad because the product is great -- people will leave now. Good job managment!
Company placed Michael Steele as Head of Global Medical Affairs. He's such an idiot. Sucked up big time while in an ad interim role, and got the permanent role. Kiss butt, brainless, plays favoritism with those who pretend to like him. Senior Management later got it together and kicked his ass out, trying to find him another job. Just kick his ass out altogether. He's a liability.
I was displaced from my territory. Lost all the customers and momentum I built up for my business. Now instead of spending time building new relationships, I'm spending hours driving. There's no way to not burn out. I'm no good to the customers or myself. Plus really difficult to advance in this company, even when you do achieve top tier performance. It's about playing favorites and kissing ass. No sales reporting tools to work with for months either with all the recent changes. Lots of chaos and anarchy here at the moment.
Upper management is extremely unprofessional. Company is lacking in career development, lots of favoritism, very long hours, everything is urgent. Lots of pressure and no appreciation on any task given.
