And a shit ton of other JAKs, the old RBMs, were cut and stabbed in the back by the SAKs who should have been cut but all kept the jobs for themselves.
All of us in the field are taking a big cut in IC and the managers we appreciated are now gone and we're stuck with SAKs who are back stabbers and have no loyalty to their people, just look at what they just did to their people. Fucking back stabbers.

some of the JAKS were horrible to those of us in the field. They didn’t have a clue how to take care of their people and were only good at kissing the ass above them. It was a game to them where they were only here to promote themselves. They have a very slim chance at the roles that will be available.

let’s be honest. Some of the JAKS were not good leaders at all. They did nothing other than promote themselves. They caused turmoil on their teams and spent a lot of their time wreaking havoc. The JAKs were good at kissing ass but that is how they landed their gig in the first place. Look at the turnover on some of the teams. Some of us are quite relieved we will not be reporting to them anymore. We have had so many new team members it’s silly. Those JAKs having to compete for a role is poetic justice. There will be much more qualified candidates than those JAKs
 






Our team was lucky and had a really good RBM. It is a shame what happened to the good one's. Really hope the good ones land a place in the DSO model because they do deserve to continue to be here. Not sure they will want to.

They stay and take the path of least resistance and for many it's all they've known for 15-20+ years. This change however will likely be the motivating factor for many of them to not only look elsewhere but realize there are much better opportunities out there. Bayer has been a great place to work, that place has changed dramatically, and many will look for the next great place. They will find it.
 






SAMs are not the magic bullet. they may be helpful over time, but I have not seen any direct impact to results.

You need local reps to pull everything through.

This is so accurate . My opinion is the hogs keep getting fatter and they are slaughtering the pigs. So basically Bayer is saving their senior leaders while they remove the lower rung. In theory they think it will work but those leaders have been here so long, are the highest paid and yet we have had no real change so this will be more of the same for the future of our company. Even if I am here not, I don’t trust anyone and have no loyalty to our disgusting leadership. Shame on all those leaders who stole roles from their reports only to save themselves. They should be ashamed of themselves and disgusted with an organization that would allow it to happen. No future here and not confident in this organizations decision making skills anymore.

My org has not been affected in this round. I am so sorry to hear about colleagues losing jobs right before the holidays.. So many toxic people in the leadership positions. Judging by their lack of worry, I can tell they are keeping their jobs
