WHC reorganization is here!

I’m interviewing for a woman’s health position
Can anyone tell me how the current leadership is?
I love my Mirena, but how is the market responding to the liletta competitor?

Enjoy your Mirena and look elsewhere for job satisfaction. The management is very disorganized, and will turn on a dime. No clear course of leadership. We used to be encouraged to speak up, now it's shut up and keep your head down.

The good ole boys promote people who don’t really work? Absolutely mind blowing. Guess the qualification for Sam or manager is working as few days as possibly for Bayer, having a second job or career and are masters at key stroking.

Management is a revolving door...they use this franchise as the proving ground and then move those that brown nose into other more notable franchises and those that don't are shown the exit door. Selling IUD's is a no brainer and requires little to no thought to manage, so expect junior level management trainees and ladder climbers here.

This last statement is so true about Chelsea's friends still here. It's also amazing how a lapdog loses one master and then immediately cuddles up with the next one. As Forrest Gump said....Stupid is as Stupid does.

Not Chelsea's friends. It's their boss. Pharma guy that is not working out. Let's all hope he is out soon, or all of us may be. This is not primary care with X calls a day equaling X number of scripts.

Chelsea's friends won't tell big pharma guy what is silly and what isn't. If he leaves, they will simply kiss the ass of the next person put in position. But that's OK, because we will get another useless slogan for the division, and spend a lot of money to buy data that tells us our customers still use birth control pills. Then we will rename our target list something new once more, and go call on the same customers that have always used the most iuds. Meanwhile we will have at least another price increase that we will tell our customer it's actually better for them. We will bring another year of efficacy for Mirena to the market, then ignore that many customers will tell the patient to just keep their iud in for another year, all the while wondering why our Mirena sales are down. Then in an act of brilliance, we will continue to try to sell kyleena at the same price of our 8 year device. Oh, but it's a premium product, so we can charge a premium price.

If I hear one more "numbers are going up now that you all are in the field 5 days a week" or "numbers are going up since managers are back riding with reps" I will shoot myself. Seriously! Managers are slowing us down. Reps are "driving" to these no-see offices and sitting in the parking lot long enough to enter a call. LEADERSHIP IS NOT letting us run these territories as they NEED to be run. Phone calls are MANY times more beneficial than anything we can do in person. This is not 2010 pharma. Get with the 2022 program. Other companies are retooling the way they do business. Bayer WHC needs to get on the same path. Leadership needs to get their head out of each other's ass and realize they don't understand the market. Do you think adding 6, 7 and 8 years to Mirena is not going to affect numbers? Do you think Raplh's 15% discount is going to compete with Liletta? Contracting is a joke right now. Kenny and Katie, call your old timers if you want the truth. Also, get rid of the SAMs and give them a territory OR get rid of BDL's and give the SAM'S contracting.

By pushing for the reps to be in the field 5 days a week they are not realizing that the business has changed. To be effective with such a large territory you need time to make calls to plan in-person meetings ("dropping by" doesn't work anymore), set up trainings, handle the crap ASD & BD issues that pop up, etc etc etc) What successful business model doesn't allow time to plan so you can effectively execute? Don't get me started on the all-day expense reports that they expect us to do on personal time.

Katie and Kenny are in way over their heads. Little do they know this is their last stop on the Bayer train. Move up… and then they move you out.

Business is Not the same as it was pre-Covid
Customers are different
Access is different
The patient flow is different
Finances are different
Market is different
Can’t just show up at an account like I used to and they would let me in. The gatekeepers have changed, nurses and managers have changed and even the prescribers have changed.
Accounts purchases by larger systems creating more difficult access
2 people in an office is sometimes a huge challenge so let me do my work!

I’m working it. Im working it smart. I’m working every angle, every day, but STOP with the primary care model. Push back on Johns antiquated pharma sales model. This is a complicated total office, total business sales call and then a clinical sell to HCPs with no new compelling data, but finding ways to have more robust sales calls to increase my business

get real or I’m out of here and I’m one of the people selling thousands of units each quarter.
