It's a matter of time. 55 million globally! Reps and managers are applying everywhere they can. Just know that you will not receive that kind of salary anywhere else. You reps are not talented and lack any skill other than BS. If the government banned reps many of you would never find work outside of a Starbucks.

Smart Ass, why would government ban reps?

We are still bribing doctors with lunches. At the end of the day it is still a kickback. It's a reward for their staff. It's a joke. It also contributes to the soaring drug prices. Pharma is a disgusting place. Trips to Paris or Hawaii because someone has a disease. That's ridiculous.

So you never won a president's club is what you are telling me.

You’re not wrong at all. This role we have is a joke. They pay you just enough to give up on what you really want to do.

nerd, please name one dermatologist who was bribed by a lunch? Rookie derms earn $400k per year-I am sure that avocado toast forces them to prescribe Sotyktu...they get a free lunch everyday from other companies...playing field is level- they make their own decisons nerd-sorry you do not have a chance to enjoy our free lunches, at least you will get a mediocre severence soon

The food isn't to "buy" scripts. It can be an effective way to get time for a clinical conversation. Good reps know what thoughtful questions to ask to generate a conversation that may lead to a patient being treated. Better reps know when to walk away from someone who would never write even if it was the only option left...because they know that provider won't ever be sold...even with 24k golden
avocado toast.

Somewhere Kenny Rogers is signing The Gambler….”Know when to hold them, Know when to fold them”

Instead of hiring Serena/Jeter, can we have a Doors cover band play "This is the End?", at our next useless national sales meeting, it would cost way less than Serena/Jeter and seems way more appropriate given the current state of Slowtyktu

Sure. Whatever you'd like, Timmy. Would you like a lolli and a balloon too? Grow up! This is a business. The next meeting will be metrics galore and if you're lucky we'll pipe in the muzak from the hotel.

Derm reps, managers, directors, and VP of sales are worthless in this industry. Everyone has the same BS KPIs. It’s all about coverage and how to process PAs. Companies are hiring former MAs as reps now. The dumbest of dumb are who these companies are turning to. Docs don’t give a shit about MOA anymore. Is it covered? How much? And what’s for lunch? are the hard hitting questions reps get.

My, my, my...aren't you bitter. Have you considered another career? Perhaps greeting cards?
