Reading all this is scary. Wondering if I should apply to for the GI Endo job I have available locally? Love to know if it is worth it going from one unethical to possible other unethical company.
 






Is your current company stealing from you on a monthly basis? Are you interested in working for criminals who utilize the sales force to pay DOJ fines (300M)? I think your crazy to consider working for Olympus, it's a corrupt shit hole...plain and simple.

This response from HR should tell you everything you need to know to make an informed decision. If you need more proof just contact one of the other four division reps in your territory that you'll be selling against. That's right, five divisions that all have some sort of product overlap. It's a "stellar" sales model.

Oh and this is not a stellar company . The culture is pathetic . Ryan Freedman , Sean Moore created a culture of I ONLY ! Ryan annoyed everyone , and created a culture that no other divisions would want to work with energy . He self promoted himself , tried to throw corp accounts people under the bus like he was the person who created opportunities. All he did was shine the light in himself in a negative way . Now you Sean who bought into what he thought Ryan did . Look at us now , we are being laughed at by our own colleagues , the best reps have left , the best managers are gone , and we are stuck with this . So yes I am sick and tired of being disrespected .
 






Have some self respect ! Look for better opportunities. Olympus is a scope company , we bought Gyrus to beat acmi. Energy came with the buy. Gi was a destination job coveted by many . We are now a bottom tier entry level job in ALL divisions .
I don't know Sean Moore and didn't know Freedman, but can tell you on the GI side we know they are both examples of why your division is where it is . Freedman, was the drunk guy on stage that looked like a bad frat party , and Sean Moore was the kid stuffed in a locker in high school. What do you expect ?

Olympus will be heavily & negatively impacted by the massive walkout of all of their reps. Is anyone able to answer, in an intelligent fashion, why top management, that is obviously failing here at OCA are not collectively terminated? It seems that they are untouchable and I would like know if this is some sort of collusive effort on behalf of Hiroyuki Sasa in Japan, or just because OCA is a separate entity?
It's all really dysfunctional and very frustrating to work for such idiots, who make zero impact to this company.
Yet they expect us as the reps to make a huge impact or we are fired. I just don't get it.
Anyone have any explanations or answers out there?
