Statistically one of the top reason ppl leave is due to their manager. Of course there are other reasons (culture, income, company, future....) but your manager is a big motivator on whether to stay or leave no matter where you're at. A big factor for many of us in leaving or planning to leave.

Here's an idea- make Randy and Todd's salary based on sales instead of p&l and dock their pay due to backorders and issues. Then we will see how fast things change. No sales support at Olympus.

But guys.....putting my watch on thy opposite arm was life changing for me. Totally taught me to think and live outside the box. Live outside my comfort zone you know. A life lesson for sales that I missed during my years of sales and medical sales. I hope all those b2b reps are taking note to this great mentoring and leadership.

Thank you so much for sharing this. Following your example, I too switched watch arms. Changed my whole thinking.

However I took it too far. Wondering what else I could change, I went into the men's room and put my underwear on backwards. HUGE mistake. It made me walk funny and it felt like my balls were in some kind of vice.

So I guess I'm saying don't take it too far outside of the box.

Me too changed my shoes but no one seems to appreciate it. That's okay they're just not at my level. When I'm ready I'm going to start shaking hands with my left hand. When ready though maybe next year. This paycheck, quota, management has me too far out of the box for now. Trying to dodge my creditors is enough of a challenge.
 


















Olympus has good products, HAD a great sales force, and is and always was run by a complete fucktard group of middle and upper management. The current regime is much like its predecessors:
Overly greedy, unintelligent, dishonest, short sighted, and totally myopic and dialed into two things. Keeping Japan happy, and retiring with a rich pension and bank account. They do not care about ANYTHING other than that. True pieces of shit. Another wave of massive resignations are coming right before Thanksgiving.
I have spoken to many GI reps across the country. Get ready!

You have not achieved any of your goals. You have decimated comp, morale, and a lot of sales talent from OCA. It’s time for you to step down and resign. You and the rest of your team are an embarrassment to leadership everywhere.
