this thread is dead how much is the stock worth? someone has to know something by now? Common David Brown you have to have some equity what is your net worth - why did you leave seeing as you are the type of management that Salient keeps?

True!! Varity was the one this time. She quickly climbed the ladder and was gone. Smart short term move for her for sure. Being limber has its advantages:)
 
























how can a company do this to their people. they keep screwing them over and over, the poeple are fools they believe their lies and keep kissing their asses. unreal what a hell hole. i work upstairs and some of the crap that goes on unreal. its a big joke anyways
 












if you want to read some interesting things go to the medtronics message board.. by the looks of it they also suck. the company runs and does things like salient. as they say one scum bag to another perfect match for each other
 






Name a spot these days that doesn't suck. Everyone is cutting commissions, downsizing (while expanding overseas) and reaping in record profits. Salient, MDT, MSX, JNJ - they all exisit to serve the interests of those at the top of the pyramid.
 






I am sure that Medtronic has some great managers as I have met several reps in the field that I both like and respect. With that said, it is not only a problem with Medtronic and Salient, it is a problem in corporate America these days with immature managers that should not be in management roles. Most smart sales people realize this and stay away from management as they know the dirty games they are required to do, only get more dirty and unethical as they move up the corporate ladder on the backs of their people.....Shame on you and you know who you are, just look into the mirror. Lastly,"Karma is a mother focher" intentional mispellling of course. What goes around eventually comes around and gets you and is only a matter of time before your behavior catches up with you. Money does not buy happiness but surely can be the ruin for some in their pursuit of it.
 






Do what, exactly?

Ask people to sign employment agreements and not have any solid answers on expected compensation or territory layouts after we absorb peak employees. In my area peak has a decent presence. They have already said they aren't going to can the guy, so that means he's getting hired then he is going to be an AM just like me selling the same products. He lives like 30 minutes from me. They aren't using specialists because thats already been tried and failed. So now we have 2 reps within 30 minutes of each other selling the same thing. My territory cant even support an AAM sooo wtf do they plan on doing? Oh by the way, we have 9 days to sign and return the agreement.
 






lynch quit yet?
There are two lynch's at salient and both are solid guys. One is a manager and has never done anything but crush his number! Then he brings his brother on board in phoenix and he is rep of the year! Its definitely in the genes for these kids and they are always willing to help others. I am sure I speak for many in the company, if they leave the after all this I can promise you many will follow.

Regional Business Director is a fancy title for Area Vice President admin assistant. Nothing more than a glorified sales manager that have little to no real experience and for the most part are micromanaging pricks for the AVP, which is another joke as in most companies the Salient AVP position would equate to a sales manager with a bigger area. Laughable sales structure. Wonder how many Aquacrap devices need to be sold to pay for all the worthless middle management?

So, I started with Salient three years ago and have 44000 options which are also in a vested situation. Based on what I've heard and read I still don't know what to expect. Anyone have any new input
