New impants? Sure OM has new implants...You want examples...
Well there's the...Ummm...
I mean the...hmmm...???

Who won the chili cookoff this year??? Or was it back to the paint ball range? How bad did CMF do last year? Don't blame Jim for CMF's woes. That's been 5 years in the making and the only constants during those years are the Pres and Marketing VP.

Jim definitely wrote that last post...no one would defend him and he is clearly insecure and deflecting the attention towards the senior mangement. OM CMF division is on the way out and he will keep firing people to buy himself time.

Bottom line....your chicken's will come home to roost "Bobby Boucher".....

Jim is a disaster in himself..he need no disasters to justify. all those guys were great colleagues who are no more there because of wrong policies at OM.

Just because they were "good colleagues" doesn't mean they were cut out for this company.
Let me guess, you're going to add the brit to the "good colleagues" list because like Larry you were charmed by how he dressed and his accent.

I mean it wasn't his fault he couldn't pick up the product line in over a year and seldom (never) road with his reps...and couldn't be in surgery/cadaver labs because he couldn't stand the sight of a head in a surgical situation.
I mean really, imagine that, an rm in O.R medical device sales that can't stand the sight of surgery...yeah, blame it on wrong policies.

they might have been great colleagues and fun to talk to at the office, but they sucked at their jobs. ever wonder why we're two steps behind the competition? because we hired morons that couldn't advance our products. i'll take jim and his team anyday, they have the balls to push the envelope.

How is OM supposed to grow CMF? They have trays that are average and are not on GPOs, have only a couple of prestigious surgeon champions, very few sales support tools/ resources and 1 rep for every 3 Synthes and Stryker reps. They haven't figured out how to keep their best reps and only the underperformers stick around. I know Jim and you've got to give him time to implement his vision and hopefully right the ship. He's a proven winner and his track record speaks for itself.

I'm in the CMF division and am behind Jim 100%
I knew who you were ..ass kisser.and thanks for the admission. That is why we know you are a BS

Second you still do not have your facts right as to why your Mr.Do No Wrong has lost more than three quarters of the business.

Your sales have doubled ...congrats ...what you were selling peanuts?

Lastly I will have the previous team any day over Jim and the 2 PMs who are clueless

What did Raj or Sara ever do that was notable? Take 2 years to launch a flawed Cfx tray? How's that Tfx tray working out? Tried to revive the OsteoFlap?

The only reason we had growth during their time taking up space in Add'y was the reps. Guys like Dave G., Drew, Eric M, Eric T, Steve D. were the ones that carried this company on their back. Once they started leaving, CMF started circling the drain.

I disagree, and "I know Jim." I've worked for him, and he's not the "winner" you think he is, much less what he might have claimed on his resume. He got the "boot" from Biomet, and took Medicon to the toilet. If he could really sell, he'd still be selling Medicon. That product is every bit as good as Osteomed. He can't sell, and he can't market. But he sure can drink, and he sure can self-promote! Good luck, cause he'll always do "what's best for Jim," and always "think first of Jim." And his "vision," "Look out for Jim." Track record: Last Place: Loooooser!!
Sorry to ruin your day, but the truth hurts.

First off, I'm relatively new so what is the TFX trays as mentioned in this quote? I was just at the sales meeting and that tray was NEVER mentioned.

I'm still in the "Show Me" stage with Jim. I want to see some new products/programs, not the same BS that has been in the OM pipeline for multiple years.
He knows what we are lacking, lets see what he does about it.

Is it true...the SAM program is finally done?

I bet the reps in the old SAM territories are loving it...told you so.

From what I hear, most of the SAMs were worthless.

If that's the case; who in management takes the blame?
