Yes I am sorry I truly dont get it..I did look up troll and looks as though it is some type of lingo when when you are in a message board..I was just wondering about some of what I was reading.I have been in the medical field for 10 years and I just found this site the other day and Ironically just interviewed with Rotech and when I saw these "thread" I was like WOW.. So may I ask are you a Sales Rep? Can you help me with any of the general questions I asked, or is there somewhere else on the thread where I am to ask ?
 






Think twice about taking the sales rep position...Everything always sounds "Rosey" on an interview, promises are made that cant be kept. Did they let you know what happens when you dont make the 35 points? With gas prices going up, doing the mileage will you break even? Certainly doesnt help with tires, oil, wear and tear. Are you considering the after hour work or working on weekends that you are expected to do. Are you used to cramming your services down a doctors throat when they do not want to use the company. Have you looked at the turn over rate and wonder why? Do you know how to setup a Cpap machine, when you were hired as a sales rep? Can you deliver oxygen to a patients home when your service tech can't? If you found this board. Read it they arent lies posted here.
 






No they told me nothing about weekends or after hours? I was curious why they said a field sales reps would need to come in every morning and I certianly had planned to further question that? or at the end of the day come back..? No nothing about if you did not make 35 points? what product gives you the most points? Is that reachable? I am very used to the hospital sales, they told me the majority would be calling on the hospitals is that not true?

How many people are in one location?

Are you a Sales Rep for them? or I should say how long have you been with them? Believe me I have been reading and I am just so schocked..

Do you know what there car allowance is? Do they reimburse for Gas?

I really appreciate all your help and advice,I really do.. any more specifics to my questions if you know them would be greatly appreciated..

Still not buyin it. All one has to do is read all these threads to find your answers. If what you're really asking- is to stop mentioning "butch", then say so.

Here is a funny one. LCM's that are so afraid of not meeting that all powerful number of 5 ono's a week doing them on people who have discharge orders from their dr's. got to test um b/c we need that magic number. Then months later when they are in troulbe for low numbers of new set ups done vs the number of ono's they just dont get it. And the poor customer get's charged or their ins company does

That's a good one. Here is another one. RePAP'ing someone whose machine is fine. But they are approached & given some slick speal how there ins pay's for a new one every five years. Doesn't matter there is no one to take care of them. Dont worry about supplies we will KY sned them out to you. They are very easy to deal with! HA HA HA HA
 






I am not sure who is responding to my questions about a sales rep position with Rotech and making comments about "troll", however I am throughly confused..I was just asking general questions, I am new to the site and really am just trying to figure out could this be as bad as it really is sounding..

I was asking how attainable 35 points is to make each month? How much would one get if they achieve that?

Car allowance? Do they additionally cover mileage or gas?

What are the morning meetings for DAILY?
 






OK listen up....You get a set fee for your mileage, use if however you want put gas in your car buy tires what ever..it is not enough!!!

Morning meetings sometimes productive more so than all the conference calls required when you get your daily lashings.

Depends on your territory as to whether you can make 35 points, ask to see what the last rep did. Why did they leave..

Yes you have to have 5 ONOs and as the last poster states you are testing the patient that the Dr has already discontinued the O2 on...You are fudging the numbers so you dont have to be on the dreaded call with Renee. And if you are doing a ONO on a patient that doesnt need it, you are charging a patient for a test to get a number to keep her off your back.

Agreed the Repaps just to play another silly contest is so unfair to the patient and their insurance..Thank goodness there were patients out there that could see Rotech bilking their insurance..Unneeded Cpaps, unneeded masks and supplies have been given to many..Just so we could get a number. UNJUST no wonder insurance costs are like they are..Rotech is a big player in the fraud.

I am not sure where this Renee is ,but it does not sound Good..I am also not interested in being involved in any fraud..If this company is doing fruedlant activity why have the employees reported them to BBB??

Is there good money to be made for a sales rep while being honorable? How much does an average rep make?

You're not very good at playing the "newbie" on the board trying to dig out some dirt are you! You stated earlier in the thread you have been in the med field biz for ten years and yet...you don't seem to be capable of taking direction from the one poster on looking on the other threads for the info you seek.

Like another one said too, Troll does seem to fit you.

If you are so aghast at the alleged fraud at Rotech as you state in the first part of your post why do you care then what a rep makes?

Let alone for someone who does not work for the company you seem to know the Acronyms really well. AM, RM oh and let's not forget the word Butch you tossed in too. As if daring someone to come back and explain the "butch" part and opening that up too. That little group have been very silent..so maybe you all are just taking on a new character and acting like you are looking for info. ha ha ha ha

Did you give up on pretending to be the potential new SR already??? Give it a rest, typo's happen all the time.

Agree with the other poster too. Finally some info ..real info is being discussed. The lack of ethic's behind doing ONO's to get numbers and the customers getting billed for them. Even though the Rotech ticket says no charge. Having the LCM's give out the lame reason of, "well, Rotech is not billing them. The ONO company is billing them they have that info on the AOB they sign from the ONO company".

What typical 80+ yo can read the paper to understand they are going to be billed. Very few.

Maybe the next time they make that comment we should come back with...fine, let's do one on your Mom or Dad or Grandmother...after all Rotech is not billing them and they sign that AOB.

Shady stuff like that and having PST's and CSR's do the mask fittings and setting up BIPAP's is just unreal.

If the Dr's only knew. In some area's they do and they will not do business with that lack of care their patient's are getting. Other's it is still hidden from them.

It will catch up with Rotech, one of these days. To bad for the customers in the meantime

Wow, oops, I think somebody got offended! Lets face it, if "mistakes" happen all the time and that's considered acceptable, you are also, from how it sounds, making fraud and illegal activities acceptable by not reporting specifics to Medicare!
Step up!! If YOU have knowlege of this and YOUR not reporting it, then YOU are doing the patient's as well their Doctor's the injustice!!!
