Nothing

Wow, oops, I think somebody got offended! Lets face it, if "mistakes" happen all the time and that's considered acceptable, you are also, from how it sounds, making fraud and illegal activities acceptable by not reporting specifics to Medicare!
Step up!! If YOU have knowlege of this and YOUR not reporting it, then YOU are doing the patient's as well their Doctor's the injustice!!!

NAILED IT!

Its amazing how much people assault me while just asking some general questions about being a sales rep for Rotech.. To answer your question about knowing the terminology of a RM, AM ect is strictly because I know what a REGIONAL MANAGER is as well as a AREA MANAGER and when I interviewed they said you will be meeting with the AM and RM. These roles are standard in all areas of work..

You act as though I am someone that I am not and asking who Butch and Renee is , Is because they ARE POSTED all over the place and I was not sure if these are just a couple bad managers that rotech employess are fed up with? that is why I asked what location they are from as those were not names on my interview nor do I have any clue how they would affect me..

Agree with the other poster too. Finally some info ..real info is being discussed. The lack of ethic's behind doing ONO's to get numbers and the customers getting billed for them. Even though the Rotech ticket says no charge. Having the LCM's give out the lame reason of, "well, Rotech is not billing them. The ONO company is billing them they have that info on the AOB they sign from the ONO company".

What typical 80+ yo can read the paper to understand they are going to be billed. Very few.

Maybe the next time they make that comment we should come back with...fine, let's do one on your Mom or Dad or Grandmother...after all Rotech is not billing them and they sign that AOB.

Shady stuff like that and having PST's and CSR's do the mask fittings and setting up BIPAP's is just unreal.

If the Dr's only knew. In some area's they do and they will not do business with that lack of care their patient's are getting. Other's it is still hidden from them.

It will catch up with Rotech, one of these days. To bad for the customers in the meantime

This poster is absolutely correct....you cannot download and ONO without having the correct inurance information..I think they do need that So the patient can be billed!!!!

Rotech has the PST and Csr changing settings on CPAP/BIPAP machines..But when it comes to handling life supporting equipment they should not be going towards this equipment at all, but yet they are told by their manager..CHANGE THAT SETTING...I am sorry but this is why there is schooling such as Respiratory, with licenses that are issued..However Rotech uses very few RTS/CRRTs. Referral sources do not realize these shady proceedures are going on..

Some referral sources have refused to sign the CMN for the repaps..Stating they did not order for the patient to receive a new piece of equipment. NOW the patient is stuck with a bill.

I have a little info. if I can chime in.
I work for a competitor, who obtained an 02 patient from the local rotech store. They were also getting Duoneb through rotech's associated pharmacy.
In the year or two that they recieved the meds (along with the 02) from rotech, the patient was never billed for the balance after their primary ins., and assumed it was payed by their medical assistance co-insurance.
AFTER she switched to us for 02, said patient suddenly started getting billed by the pharmacy for $60/mo. Turns out, the pharmacy suddenly could not/would not bill her state medical assistance, being that the pharmacy is out of state. Of course, said patient switched meds to a local pharmacy.
Oh. And did I mention that the patient switched 02 to us due to a bad concentrator, and rotech not having another to give after hours?
SUBSTANCE.

Listen I am not pretending to be a SR..I dont even know what you are talking about when you say ONO's sorry, I have not accepted nor have even been trained in your industry yet..I am sure they haved a very professional intense training program the way you all are speaking..

What I find amazing..I am networking, trying to learn about a company and you think I am someone working undercover..Sorry.. I guess I will try to call Apria or Lincare and maybe ask them what rotechs reputation is ..

I am not really quite sure if you are all so against this management, and how the lack of ethics going on as you all say, then why are you still with them...

and yes what about all the write ups 3 and your out? then how are you all still there..

I really thought this was a professional foreum to just get some true answers , but you all seem acting as though I am undercover..One person answered me and was very nice and I thank he or she for that..

But for all who are name calling me Troll and whatever else, really scares me to even come aboard such an unprofessional team..I could stay home and manage my kids with the name calling, just pretty mean thats for sure, when all I have been doing is trying to ask some questions!

To the potential SR...Note this is what happens with this company. Patients are not being serviced as they should be and being billed unnecessarily.

You mentioned that the training is intense, how would you know that because I do not recall any posts talking about this...hmmm

You mention about this board...You are getting true answers here...

I have read several threads and they said "There training is lousy.. believe me if I am offered a position with this company , I am ready to ask some hard core questions..I was being sarcastic about the training..

But in all honesty , I really dont know what ONOS or LCM, I only was able to figure out RM,AM, RT, however the others I have no idea, I am only guessing..

Is the ONO's the equipment or something to do with the oxygen..

May I ask one other question, Could this all be location specific.. I am just not sure where all these names that are being thrown around to which area they are coming out of..

I have to believe that some locations are better than others.. Is anyone familiar with the turnover in INDY?

Yes, there are a few that come on and answer nicely and honestly and then there are people on this board that just are bashing me calling me names for no goos reason.. It is very unprofessional , I am just trying to educate..I realize all companies have issues.. I just dont want to be involved in micro managing or frued, but what I cant seem to get an answer on is if they are doing this to patients , why the heck are they not being REPORTED..

no one has answered why they still continue to work for this company if they are that bad!

Who is your main competetion ? What are some nice locations to work in?

"no one has answered why they still continue to work for this company if they are that bad!"

For a few of us, the reason is that Walmart is'nt hiring in our area. Not to mention the perks. For instance, as an lcm, I can work half the day doing things for my pizza shop and no one asks questions.

OK. here is the lowdown:

1) Apria Healthcare- By far the biggest and currently best reputation.
2) Lincare- Coming along lately, fairly solid foundation.

3-8)- Do some research on some of the smaller, even "Mom&Pop shops. I can tell you there are a couple good, and few bad. Usually you will know when you FIRST walk-in the door.

9) Rotech- Need I say more?
10) Pacific Pulmonary- Even MORE of a fraudulent company than the one mentioned above.

Also try the home health agencies as well as the SNF's.

Good luck.

Thank you so much.. Yes I did call Apria today and spoke to someone who did say Rotech really does not have a presence in the market.

Do you know what locations in Rotech have decent management and still have a decent reputation?

You are the "Location Fixation Sensation"! Where do you currently reside? If, you don't mind me asking.....

It's a really good try, even though you'e putting out this bait for another's benefit. One will try anything when they are under the spotlight.
