Nominations for worst manager at Novartis

I have 2 for you!

Both are Eye Care ABL’s. The first one initials are SL what a piece of work he is. He is still driving his reps and they’re days away from getting shipped to B&L! Get a clue you loser!

The second one I just observed on a conference call. He was sitting there working on his computer when the car was going on. I think the guy is from Milwaukee or maybe Green Bay Wisconsin I thought. Who in the hell chooses a manager to be stationed out of Wisconsin? Good luck to whomever the manager that is.

Before you cast aspersions on anyone, please learn some proper grammar, or at the very least, learn how to spell.

My God, what an absolute idiot you are, "looser"!

I’m a looser baby so why don’t you kill me?

In the time of chimpanzees I was a monkey
Butane in my veins and I'm out to cut the junkie
With the plastic eyeballs, spray-paint the vegetables
Dog food stalls with the beefcake pantyhose
Kill the headlights and put it in neutral
Stock car flamin' with a loser and the cruise control
Baby's in Reno with the vitamin D
Got a couple of couches, sleep on the love-seat
Someone came in sayin' I'm insane to complain
About a shotgun wedding and a stain on my shirt
Don't believe everything that you breathe
You get a parking violation and a maggot on your sleeve
So shave your face with some mace in the dark
Savin' all your food stamps and burnin' down the trailer park
Yo, cut it
Soy un perdedor
I'm a loser baby, so why don't you kill me?
(Double-barrel buckshot)
Soy un perdedor
I'm a loser baby, so why don't you kill me?
Forces of evil in a bozo nightmare
Ban all the music with a phony gas chamber
'Cause one's got a weasel and the other's got a flag
One's on the pole, shove the other in a bag
With the rerun shows and the cocaine nose-job
The daytime crap of the folksinger slob
He hung himself with a guitar string
A slab of turkey-neck and it's hanging from a pigeon wing
You can't write if you can't relate
Trade the cash for the beef for the body for the hate
And my time is a piece of wax falling on a termite
That's choking on the splinters
Soy un perdedor
I'm a loser baby, so why don't you kill me?
(Get crazy with the cheeze whiz)
Soy un perdedor
I'm a loser baby, so why don't you kill me?
(Drive-by body pierce)
Yo, bring it on down
Soy un perdedor
I'm a loser baby, so why don't you kill me?
(I can't believe you)
Soy un perdedor
I'm a loser baby, so why don't you kill me?
Soy un perdedor
I'm a loser baby, so why don't you kill me?
(Sprechen Sie deutsch, baby?)
Soy un perdedor
I'm a loser baby, so why don't you kill me?
(Know what I'm sayin'?)

I also vote for an eye care ABL in the northeast. He is micromanaging everyone on the team. This week he told the team the expectation is to be in the field until 9/29 so we can all make money come March. He’s still riding in the field with reps despite being days away from moving to B&L.

shut up, dumbass

Managers - I’m sure you don’t want to be with us as much as we don’t want you to be with us and the doctors don’t want you in the offices either. This role is an outdated 1990’s way of managing people. I truly wish companies would stop these field rides as they are not helpful unless you are a newbie

Stop whining, loser. As you long as you accept your pay, you’ll do as many field rides as you’re told.

clearly you have sold your soul to become an ABL here.
Grow up, Sugar. You knew what the job entailed before you accepted the offer. All of you who complain about field rides understood. If you don’t like them, you are free to quit. Go try a real sales job with a car allowance and a 40:60 pay combination. You know that you won’t because you work part time, collect six figures, and deal with minimal supervision of your daily responsibilities. You’d rather complain than find a solution. That means that there is no problem, and you’re happy with the status quo.

One of my nurses had some great advice for me when I complained about manager ride-a-longs that I will never forget. She said, “Deal with it. He’s your boss. Do what you’re told to do.”

I don’t think anyone has any sympathy for drug reps, let’s be real. I think she told me b/c she liked me enough to tell me the truth.

You shouldn’t be complaining around your nurses and doctors. Your comp and freedom and benies are not in the same category as a nurse. Be a professional in front of your clinics.
Your customers don’t like the constant intrusion of ABLs coming into their clinics. It is not the health care providers job to stop and pay your ABL any respect or give them extra time to make you look good. They are serving patients and they should not have to visit with your ABL more than 1 or 2 times a year.

want a solution? ABLs bring zero value to the field. They are a constant nuisance and require reps asking for favors from offices in order for them to be tolerated. The solution is to get rid of half of them and their high salaries. Then each ABl has double or triple the amount of reps they are responsible for. Their job should be approving expense reports, putting out fires, if need and meeting up with each rep once per trimester for a business review. Stop the nonsense of babysitting tenured reps with field rides. In over 20 years in this Industry.. no manager has ever offered any “coaching” that was worth two cents. Get over yourself
