I received a background check but never had a call back. Is anyone else waiting still?

Yeah, this whole process seems really shaky, and I am not putting all my eggs in this basket. I'm going to continue to apply and interview for as many other opportunities as possible.

What other opportunities are there? It seems like the part-time/flex-time pharma jobs are pretty hard to come by, at least in my area. I sent my offer letter back but haven't received any confirmation or any details about training. I am really hoping this comes through.

Yes, very few flex time posted here, but I do have an opportunity for a Merck job share interview coming up. I'm also open to full time, I don't care, just want to work.

Training is online or web x and conf call with Pfizer. (said 20-30 hours training but no more details yet)

Does anyone know if this is a good company? What happens if we have sample problems or i pad problems? Pay is better than unemployment.

I didn't know about the storage. So is training one week? Does anyone know how the hours work? Meaning is it a total number of calls/signatures per month or per week

I got a reply that they set up and pay for storage. Not sure about training. Looks like have to hit so many signatures a month to get the extra money.

Can you store the samples at your house? That's what I have always done for years.

Is this a good company to work for? The answer is yes. I am from "Big Pharma" and this is the best job that I have ever had. It is flex time and maybe not the money that you are used too but if you want to work for a company that cares about you this is it. It is a small company so things will be a little different but you will get any support that you need whether it is with samples, iPad or anything else.

My letter said Chantix but recruiter said OBGYN's. When I emailed them asking they said offer was stated wrong to change the drug to Premarin.

My letter said it's a two year contract and it could be up to three companies that you sample products for. The first one is with Pfizer for Premarin. Base salary is $1666/mo, car allowance $416, bonus $416 if you hit 97% of your target which I guess means signatures.

Does anyone know how many calls per week on the Premarin Pfizer contract? The letter says 2.5 days per week but no number of calls. I haven't heard back from OnCall yet.

They told me "averaging 8 calls per day, 2.5 days per week". I'm wondering if you can alternate 2 days one week, 3 days the next. I have not heard anything though since I sent the signed offer letter back. I don't understand how we can be starting a week from Monday yet have no specifics... I don't even know who my manager would be. If this pans out it would be great but it all seems strange, not having an interview, no details on training, etc. I wonder how many people they hired for this contract??

I have been on a great contract for the past 3 months. I went through the same thing. Just be patient. You will receive emails from them with the details. Oncall unlike other contract or pharma companies doesn't bust your hump. If you have experience and the background check comes back positive you are all set. So far I am having a ball and I have a great manager to boot.
