New Openings

The offer letter was different than what the recruiter told me on the phone. I contacted Vince from HR and he would not call be back but asked me to email him my questions. The offer said Chantix was the product but he emailed me back and said the letter was printed wrong that is was for OBGYN's and the product was Premarin.

Good for you!

still waiting for more answers, if you don't get a sig you don't get paid?

That's correct. However, if you will be selling Advil, then the offices will roll out the red carpet for you. You will be able to get into 100% of the offices. They all want Advil. If it is another drug, it will depend on the drug for access. If you are carry something that is very poular, you will get in.

The other key is to call all your offices for days/hours before you go out into the field so that you dont come there when the office is not open. Then it is a waste your time, gas, & money.

Remember, no signature, you don't get paid.

What about Premarin? I would think offices would also want that.

my offer says there is a monthly salary-that's contingent on making 100% of signature calls?

There are different contracts/offers being discussed on this thread. The Pfizer-Premarin contract is calling on Ob/Gyn's, averaging 20 hrs. per week with a base monthly salary plus bonus which is contingent on getting the signatures. You also get a monthly car and cell phone allowance.

Does anyone know how long the training is for this contract? I received an offer letter that says you will be doing virtual training but doesn't say how long it is and when we will start going out in the field.

Yeah, that is the one I am apparently on. They said 2.5 days/week.

I got an offer for the Chantix position, but can't start work until the 14th. I've tried several times to call and email OnCall, but I haven't heard back from them. Anyone else in this situation?

Im assuming all territorries have been filled. I never got a call back from my background check. Although , the recruiter said he was still working on it. Has anyone in New Jersey accepted an offer? Or ....does anyone have background checks that were not responded to.
My recored is clean!

I also received and sent back my offer letter, but have not heard anything back. My letter said it was for Chantix, however, it was not 2.5 days, it was 3 days per week, and it was for a monthly salary, bonus, car allowance and cell phone allowance. That would have to be calling on PCP's. Said start date was Jan. 7 with home study/testing which would take about 3-4 days. Did not say anything about being based on receiving sigs.

Yeah, this whole process seems really shaky, and I am not putting all my eggs in this basket. I'm going to continue to apply and interview for as many other opportunities as possible.
