Be honest with yourself - is there anything in your background that would cause a non-favorable background check to come back. It seems that that would be the only thing halting your employment. If not, follow-up with OnCall to see what your status is. If there is no reason for you to believe that anything in your background would get in the way maybe it's just that they are behind in background checks or perhaps they are waiting for companies that you worked for to get back to them. Don't forget this is the holiday season. Things just may be taking longer. If you want the job bad enough followup with your contact at Oncall either by email or phone to see what your status is - it could only show that you are interested. GO AHEAD MAKE YOUR DAY!

To message #22. I have been around enough to know to follow-up and already did. Thanks for the advice. There was still no real reply that made sence. As far as a background check, my reccord is clean. The question was if other people were still waiting because some people got a reply. Once again, thanks for your input.

I am still waiting, and it has been 3 years. Maybe I should followup to see what my status is? I am beginning to think that they wont offer me the job. I have never had an accident. I got 3 tickets for DUI and attended a 12 step program, but it shouldn't really be a problem. I was never arrested for DUI, but I was arrested just once for selling drugs to undercover cop. I only got probation, so I dont think that that is a black mark on my record. I did once get caught while working for Pfizer for stealing VIAGRA, they immediately discharged me. For stealing Viagra? I thought they were HARD on me. It was really a STIFF PENALTY. Well, I still have hope that I will get a call from OnCall & will receive an offer for a job. I am willing to wait several more years if I have to. I am a pretty patient person. Well, good luck to everyone!
 






























To post #104..Your responce is what I was thinking when I read it ..dead on ..I been a rep long enough to follow up..know I have no criminal or driving record issues. Seems most people on this link have a working knowledge of how the system works..Thanks for you comments ..I don't feel so alone !..Best of luck to you .

How would we know that? But I will say this seems to be a very fluid situation, in that they keep changing things up, in terms of the product(s) and the pay. And we are not talking about making a whole lot of money here, and some reps who start this position may not stay that long, so I would keep in touch with your recruiter.
 






Has anybody heard back from OnCall since receiving the offer letter? Does anyone who has worked for them before know if we should expect to be contacted prior to the start date?
 












The offer letter was different than what the recruiter told me on the phone. I contacted Vince from HR and he would not call be back but asked me to email him my questions. The offer said Chantix was the product but he emailed me back and said the letter was printed wrong that is was for OBGYN's and the product was Premarin.
