Mike Sheehan -CRM AVP

If BSX was smart they would get rid of both Sheehan and Jacobs. Get creative. Promote Mark and due something that would improve the moral of the Northeast.....bring back Bob B. I have said my peace.Just get it done

The fact that MS is still around is unbelievable. Is senior leadership blind or just looking the other way? Sad state of affairs.

This is what is happening with the trio of MJ, MS, and JK.

First of all it' apparent to all that MJ is currently ignorant of how the CRM business works at the account level. He is dependent upon the advice of MS (incompetent) and JK (idiot).

Neither of these goons are "his" guys. He will learn from their mistakes and blame them for his failures. They in turn will blame their managers and within two years the entire management team will be realigned with new AVP's and RM's tied to the IC side of the business.

So if you have interest in advancing from the field into management you are advised to build strong relationships with the IC side of the business and network to MJ via IC management.

Sounds like there is another shake-up coming with senior management.... willing to bet one of the folks mentioned in this post will finally be accountable for his lack of leadership. We'll see.........

Hearing the Central Philly RM, JW.

Confirmed... Jeff W resigned to be a sales rep with BIO.

Based on other posts, that makes him the 9th RM that has left under MS in about 4 years(I believe he manages 6 or 7 RMs) ... this is becoming an absolute joke. In 4 years MS has turned over his entire team, and is working on turning it over twice. What a laughing stock. With turnover that high & leadership so low, how can this guy get past a performance review without getting put on double secret probation.

Clearly a top down strategy to use an iterative process to get the best interventional management into CRM positions. Not a reflection on AVPs. BSX realizes that legacy GDT cannot grow the business. BSX interventional is the MARKET LEADER in DES. Once in place, you can expect these guys to drive CRM to a #1 position in market share. When you think about it, the strategy makes great sense....selling defibrillators is no different that selling stents after all.

Yes, surely you do jest; however, you may be correct. Top IC reps clearly are superior sales reps. Why? Because they realized they could make huge dollars with no evening and weekend call, patient follow-up, and continuous intense training. In fact on a per hour basis the IC rep makes at least twice what a CRM rep does. So, you should admire the IC rep for his business acumen rather than mock him. The IC rep should be your role model.

When IC takes over management of CRM you can look forward to less training and the further development of technology to eliminate follow-ups and off/on's. In other words CRM will be transformed from a service organization to a sales organization.

Since this thread was originally about Mike Sheehan, I must say that I cannot think of a better example of the poor quality of the CRM sales organization.

JP and KC are next to go. They found a "creative" way to get out of their EA's to work for CB, while still calling on their same customers.... News will be announced in the upcoming weeks....

Lets hope Jacobs get this right and FINALLY puts an end to this nonsense. Mike S. has destroyed the Philly market single handidly. Give him the severance package and lets get back to doing business instead of the constant hiring.
