Mike Sheehan -CRM AVP

BSC needs to make some wide spread cuts across the east if there is any hope for recovery - beginning with Sheehan. He is an embarrassment to the company and only has one manager with ANY capability, and he was in place from the prior regime. His other RM's must be a blast to compete against, not only do they lack talent - but their team's hate them. As a long term employee of Guidant, I still foolishly am loyal and have some crazy hope this thing can turn - but there isnt a chance in hell if we keep the likes of Sheehan, Hartman etc with BSC. They dont care about the business, the customer or their people - only their careers, their blue blazers and next titles.....

This long thread is mostly accurate and funny.... and a little sad that this guy is still around. He couldn't lead himself out of a wet paper bag. He has lost way too many good managers (entire management team has left--- 8 mgrs over the past 3 years -- TD, BS, CB, KZ, JS, AA, NY Mgr, SC. In the absence of leadership, people will eventually move onward. Despite the challenges BSC has had, he continues to have the worst RM retention in the USA --- someone needs to either buy this guy a "leadership for dummies" book or demote him to a product manager role.

He was done a long time ago. He's a known issue within the company but leadership doesn't know what to do with him. They're afraid to get rid of another AVP. He was in NY today & my customers and fellow reps were laughing at the BS he is spreading - literally. Do you really think that hospitals "buy" the fact that the MADIT CRT indication means you can't implant "any" device for the indication? Run with that Mike. Will make you and your management team look like the fools that you are. Pathetic.

The trial was sponsored by Boston Scientific. However, given the fact all of the major manufacturers of ICDs (including Boston Scientific, Medtronic and St. Jude Medical) also make CRT devices, all of these companies stand to benefit.

I can't imagine why anyone would even want to be an AVP with Boston Scientific. Mark K. Is a smart guy, he would never take Mike S's job. He's too much of a stand up guy and couldn't deal mike s's bullshit like the company wants

you must not know Mark K then. He's been waiting to slip into MS's position for awhile. No secret that MS is on the rocks & has interviewed with MDT and other companies. MK has had other AVP opportunities but passed due to location.
