Truth. 162 is definitely not worth the risk. Who knows the FDA now is rejecting new drug approvals as well.I was told by the recruiter the top pay band was $162,000. That can’t be right. If it is, there is no way I’d take the risk to leave my current company to join Karuna pre PDUFA. Too much risk for very little upside.
I’m in the mix now. Initial impression is that we won’t get equity. I asked about it and the recruiter didn’t have any information. Also couldn’t tell me if I’d be comped on any bonus I miss at my present company. I hope I get dragged into the August timeframe so I can figure out how likely it is the PDUFA goes through. A lot of people got burned hard by Sage and Biogen last year. If I get the offer, I’m not quitting until the last possible moment.
Recruiters only know portions of the situation. If you make it to the hiring manager virtual interview, you’ll receive much more legit info. After that virtual iv those selected will travel to panel iv’s. Again, not everybody will make it past the recruiter phone screens and even less will make it to the panel iv’s.I am in the same boat, same thought process. The later the better, also need to get more definite information, not vague possibilities.

True, the recruiters should have given you salary range but you had to ask them.No way do I believe 162 is the top for experienced candidates, if so I wish someone would tell me that so I can stop wasting my time, and theirs. I am a couple conversations deep and no mentioned of compensation yet. I appreciate when salary and benefits are talked about up front from the recruiter or HR so I at least know we are in the same area of acceptable.
Has anyone in sales had their virtual interview with hiring manager yet?
Managers are in training now. They will be starting virtual interviews with the candidates who have made it past phone screens all within next couple of weeks.
Wow somebody wasting away their Friday nite dreaming about their BMS fantasy. Get a life loser.Once virtual interviews are complete, there will be in-person interviews for the remaining candidates. At this interview, candidates will be required to mastvrbate into a tissue as a display of their commitment.
I have virtual iv with hiring mgr next week. Was told there is a July training class.Once virtual interviews are complete, there will be in-person interviews for the remaining candidates. At this interview, candidates will be required to mastvrbate into a tissue as a display of their commitment.
I am still waiting on an update. HR rep remains MIA ….
