Agree. The recruiting process is ridiculous. The recruiters have no idea what they’re looking for and their “follow up” is severely lacking. By far the most unprofessional company I’ve dealt with.

Try selling patients on the need to get monthly or every other month injections to possibly slow the progression. 30 something percent chance of slowing. They will notice no difference. Good luck with that. There will be 3 treatment options not 2 that essentially will do the same thing.
How will a retina specialist find the time to inject these patients? With all the wet AMD retinopathy and CME patients??

spot on analysis, this is what the treatment community is saying. First patients to be injected are those with active wAMD in the fellow eye, will be a stretch for non wAMD pts to get a shot

The fact that no one has gobbled them up should tell you something. The community is waiting to see what happens when they launch. No one believes their leadership when they say the sky is blue. Their last drug really hurt patients and it changed launch environment in retina. Thanks again.

Their company sponsored it. They helped get it approved. They bragged to the community at public meetings they single handedly got it through the FDA. They facilitated the training where they told people to minimize the side effects called out in the PI. I’m trying to figure out where the slander is happening.

The team running sales and marketing is the team that ruined the market for retina launches. See the last big launch. And the head of sales is a LIAR who should be drummed out of pharma. The leadership has hired their amoral buddies. One is verrrryclose with senior leadership. They’re badmouthing the competition instead of selling their product. 0% side effects? Even injecting saline has a side effect. Buyer beware.

Retina rep here who passed on this after 3-4 recruiters and the local manager contacted me on LinkedIn. The senior leadership is a major concern, just look at how they handled Beovu. Feedback from retina specialists is that the data is questionable and may be cherry picked. Do what you need to do for yourself but keep your eyes wide open

The reputation of the leadership team is not great. Had a very well respected, KOL tell me that this group is all smoke and mirrors.

Does the VP of sales even have any sales experience?

I was told by a study site that they couldn’t enroll a single patient into the trial. Look at the exclusion criteria.

Cherry picked patients/data, 0% side effect, reputation of leadership, marketing guy now VP.

I would say that if you have a job, stay away.
