Horrible company to work for...

story sounds spot on with these two along with plenty other stories about those two’s character and moral integrity another story about tims professionalism and he’s our senior level manager what a joke.

A clip applier rep? That's hilarious! Another DG debacle. How's that gonna look on a resume?
Applied is fucking unbelievable and yet there are those on this board who will defend it until their dying day. Shameful.

OMG, imagine putting CLIP APPLIER SPECIALIST on your resume?

This is just getting more and more bizarre.

Your a specialist for an $85 device with only one size, no open clips. Medtronic will still crush us.

Applied has truely lost the concept.

throwing anything against the wall they can. Giving up on the failing Voyant and moving people to a clip applier. Truly amazing management skills dennis tim molly. What a joke.

Applied can't fire people because they don't have enough people left. Look at the flow of reps leaving the company. They can't fully staff any district. They know the biggest exodus is about to happen with this reorg. If you've worked for Applied for 2 years or more you will soon be the most seniored rep in your district.

Also, any west coasters out there know why April left?

So the jaws on my Voyant keep breaking.

A doc grabbed the Voyant and he start shaking it.

It was making all rattle sounds from every part of the Maryland.

HE ASKED ME IF IT WAS MADE IN CHINA. I said "California". He said " Oh Mexico". I said "Pretty much"!

At least I got a good laugh out of the call. Forget about clip appliers. They never fire in a meeting anyway.

I don’t work here anymore, but did about 7-8 years ago. Does the NY/NJ territory still have that old loser Jim Muehleheisen (not sure on the spelling) still working there? That nerd was the worst to bring into accounts and I actually had 2 accounts tell me to never bring him back or they would give the business to JNJ

I still have friends in the company and have been begging them to leave for years. But they drank the Applied Kool-Aid and fell for the bullshit of "the grass isn't greener on the other side" and "you have a good quality of life here". Now they're like the orchestra on the Titanic, playing like there's still a chance and destined to go down with the ship. Just like their careers.

yeah there’s a few diehards in the northeast that will certainly go down with the titantic you can hear their career gasping for its last breath now That ship will be completely submerged in the next 2-4 yrs then they’ll be standing there with nothing and 10-15 years wasted such a shame and treated like dogs the entire way down

Honest question for you, how has the quality of life changed since you left? That's the only thing that's keeping me at AM, but I have never worked for another company so AM is my only metric. Thanks.

You mean beyond working for a company that actually matches your 401k? Offers the same benefits to all employees not just those in California? Provides a company car or allowance that isn't tracked because they actually trust you? Not being micromanaged by ZD's that truly couldn't make it in any other company? Selling products that surgeons actually want to use? Now add those to actually having pride in who I work for and they're proud to have me. Imagine a company that treats you like an adult, that looks good on a resume, that acknowledges your effort and puts effort back in to help you. Can anyone really say that any of Applied's leadership has done anything to help you succeed?

In 06 they had a President’s Club- if you want to call it that. Your “reward” was three days at the Marriott on the hill, a catered dinner at HQ, and a day trip to Catalina Island- no wine mixer. And a guided tour of all manufacturing facilities. You had to pay out of pocket once you arrived and expense everything for the trip.
They had vessel sealing technology back then. Wonder why it took so long ...
It’s amazing how many talented people passed through the revolving door and went on the have very successful careers at other companies. 15 years later and nothing has changed.

What benefits do CA reps get that we don't?

You really didn't look over your health benefits very well. Applied has two separate plans - one for California residents and the rest of us. Another way they screw us.

It's actually CA law that screws everyone, that's why there's multiple plans. Not defending Applied, just saying CA screws more people than Applied does.
