Good luck in getting out of RC

I feel so stupid for accepting a job here. Other animal health companies won't even consider me because they know this company is a joke. I was fed a line of crap about all the training I was going to get and I've got nothing. My manager knows less than me! How does this happen??? A recruiter told me has over 50 RC people looking for jobs! He said some of them are people who just started with the company within the past 6 months! I feel so stupid.

Don't feel stupid. It is easy to fall for a line sometimes and then we find out that everything is not as presented. I also heard the same thing from a recruiter about a lot of RC people looking to get out.

I resigned in December because the management and company as a whole was a joke. My RM was basically a dictator, but would turn into a care bear when upper management came around. The job may be great for people who were lucky enough to be hired into a territory that manages and grows itself, but for everyone else it is a dying business. Also, it is hard to keep good talent around when managers are inept at doing their job, hate animals, belittle women, but put on a great show for upper management and HR so that their team members can never go to HR with a complaint.

Look at indeed.com to see the latest RC opening. Another RM getting promoted, transferring to another Mars division, where they don't know him. Smart move, get out before you are found out. Now, a couple more of these to go and maybe we will have some decent RMs left, but that might be asking too much.

Unbelievable! Is going to fish care a promotion? For that RM to be promoted is rediculous. Just another idiotic move made by the brain trust. How do these people that never hit goals get promoted? This place is an absolute joke!

His DMs are happy because they have zero respect for him. The whole thing is laughable.

So, how did he get moved up in the ranks? I would love to know how he did it because it seems impossible in normal companies. People like him would have been fired rather than promoted. He succeeded in making himself look good at the expense of others. Great manager for sure. Eventually the Peter Principle will be evidenced in his life.

Oh RC. I really don't miss you at all.
Such a trashy organization. Although some of the filth has been dumped, it's like the garbage that sat outside too long.....the stench still lingers.
I removed this company from my resume and had far more success by doing so.
If you've been here for a year or less- consider doing the same! If you've been here longer, you can still totally get out of this gutter if you really wanted to.

They are now hiring people that have no idea how bad this place is so RC hopes they will stay. If it is your first, or even second, job ever, or if you came from a low paying clinic job, this place looks good. Get out, people, before you ruin your future chances for employment.

So interesting to now read that it was 'the company' that led the sales force to believe Walt was the problem. The pages of you all waxing poetic on just how awful he was - dirty, not trustworthy, a bully who managed by instilling fear. Guess what you complaining band of fools? He's gone but the crying continues. Endlessly.

You are part of the problem, Mr Manager.

And the crowd screams: Bring back Walt ! Bring back Walt!
