Dermatology Expansion

Im not trying to be tuff, I’m just giving my opinion.. this was a back up, back up play for me. My other two jobs leads also gave me offers that were FAR better in every way possible (not just $). I think for the right person this would be a great way into an intro specialty role. But it wasn’t for me.

Intro specialty role? Wouldn’t go so far to call it that. Mid level is more like it. Senior biologic reps aren’t a fit but other derm reps are.

I think the pay, benefits, etc are reasonable and a good fit for many. I wish everyone the best and hope they do the best for themselves and their family. I hope this drug is very successful but my one area or concern is it’s just one product and the known of a new launch. Hopefully this topical crushes it and allows them to do more R&D or make acquisitions

All of these expansion pharma jobs are relative to your individual situation. What might be good fit for one is likely a horrible fit for the next. All these posts about is it good or bad are comical. Any poster asking that needs to start by putting their individual situation out there in order for us to determine if it’s right or wrong job for them. Prob most accurate discription about this job is it’s a bridge job for someone looking to get out of PCP.

Don’t know any PCP reps who have been offered a job here. It requires derm or some type of specialty experience.

Professional Specialty Caterer is the accurate term here. Pizza delivery is more primary care. This job will require spmeone with Olive Garden catering experience.

your typically getting lunch and Starbucks for far fewer so you can afford the time to seek out the trendier spots and made-to-order coffee drinks.

I think a pcp rep could do it... that’s not what they said. They said they haven’t heard of any pcp reps getting offered the job, neither have I

what are you writing the welcome guide for all the new Incyte Derm reps? It sounds like you and ‘they’ are having great conversations on the most recent hires coming aboard across the country. Do tell!
