Coronavirus

I can think of a Pfizer manager in Indiana that should be laid off but instead has fired people or ran them off unnecessarily. They think they are so great when their reps kiss up to them. In reality, the reps wouldn't give them the time of day if they weren't getting something in return.
Plenty of that kind right here. At least some have been run off like RPW but we could lose a few more.

I work for a different company and we are still in the field too. Offices are closing down everywhere. All Pharma needs to tell the sales people to stay home!
Lilly isn't the only one making reps work. It's disgusting.

Its a competitive advantage for us to be out here. If other companies pull reps even better. We should be giving out branded n-85 masks and hand sanitizer. The speciality pharmacy rep I work closely with has hand sanitizer- I've been passing it out and getting more time to see my dermatologist. Almost every office is struggling to find it!

This is the time where the cream of the crop rises to the top. The ones that can figure out how to add value, help patients and actually SELL something will win. This whole virus BS is overblown anyways- just a way to tank the economy to help the liberals win in November.

Wow. Just wow. Pharma Rep passing out hand sanitizer and blabbing about how the virus is overblown to help liberals. Ha. You fool.

Are Lilly DBU reps really in the field today? Former employee just checking in ( my company has us all home until further notice)!

By the way, I agree that this whole thing is overblown. Could you imagine if CNN covered influenza like this?

yes we are in the field today, but today is the last day. I'd imagine they will have plenty of work lined up for us though while we are working from home. Not sure what, but I can't imagine a pharmaceutical company just letting their employees stay at home and do nothing (although that would be kind of nice :)

You're so full of it. We don't get any hand sanitizer to give out. There isn't any to be found in most places anyway and it's illegal to give anything. Stop your nonsense..

As far as staying home, be careful what we wish for. We'll have web exes and skypes and teleconferences out the wazoo. uggghh

I have lots to do. I’m going to hang out with the family, go workout, maybe catch a movie... screw corporate. Try to catch me! I’ll plan my day around the video conferences. Ahahahahhahaha

This is the time when you reduce your Prozac dose because you have become a Stepford Wife. Wtf is wrong with you?

Call HR. It's illegal to treat employees differently. Called discrimination. Just say I'm not being treated the same as my in house colleague....those words get the ball rolling.

Shut up and get to work jerky! Corporate can complain that they aren’t being treated the same either. We get shit bonuses while reps and sales managers make a killing, if you’re good. We can be productive from home, you all will sit on your asses eating bonbons.

There are pros and cons to both I'm sure. I'm in the DBU and I wouldn't say anyone in my circle makes a killing, myself included. I will say that the job is pretty sweet though, as long as your DM is with you. On field ride days I'd rather be dead.

They will have us on lots of Skype and silly training calls. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR

I've ordered big batches of it for conferences etc. in the past. i'm not they one who posted about it, but it is available, just sayin.

Or that you are not being given the same opportunity to protect your health as your in house colleague. Guaranteed to work.
former employee here... from what I understand, the mandatory wfh in Indy is more about protecting manufacturing vs. protecting employee's health. That being said, I don't know why any company would send reps into dr offices right now for anything?

I am not a manager nor do I want to be. I find no joy in hearing about people who lost their jobs and are now struggling doing something like selling cars, however.

No need to be completely insensitive ass. We all have families and are trying to make a living.
Yea then you never had a manger that love torturing reps and love picking on one just so they can fire one or drive out and create fear...
