Collapsed territories

it is not about fairness or uncontrolled fairness . The issue is jealously and envy by posters who if they had these territories wouldnt be saying a word. What about the same people who complained that some territories at launch were easier to access and grow.you are talking about maybe 10 people at most.
It is amazing how wonderful and talented you are. If only the company recognized your value and gave you some additional accts. Damn the good ole boy network that is blocking your progress
. You think because you are on cp your immature and petty complaints are not noticed at meetings and conf calls and ride alongs. You are noticed and we laugh at you for being such asses. We also wish you would grow up.
Of course spittlng territories is not fair. Being a women in a mans world is not fair either. What about all the other people getting or have gotten the short end. Havent we all.

....and this folks is an ASS that got extra accounts. Hey stupid, no one blamed the reps but it is obviously unfair to compare anymore to other unchanged territories. You are WAY off base and you know it!

Omg are you truly that stupid? The territories were drafted out to be as equal as possible. If a new rep starts they should inherit a comparable to other territories with no unfair advantages.

I could not agree with you more! I also don't fault the reps, as I would gladly taken a second whole territory. In the end however, it is very very unfair. Someone on another thread said it best when they stated this now makes the ranking report meaningless and mathematically incorrect. How can I be judged against someone that has gotten another territory added in their accounts and then they consider that as growth? The territories were originally carefully sketched out in terms of potential and with several reps getting additional accounts then it would be very unfair to compare my growth to someone that has been gifted significantly "more potential." I have worked very hard too and I had planned on sticking it out through the tough times, but I have made the decision to leave based on this unfairness.

You should probably leave then. Before you do, call someone and ask how transferred accounts are calculated into the rankings. They are NOT calculated as growth. They have a history and it is accounted for. Waitresses.

Why doesn't management have a conference call to discuss why reps are being fired (hush hush) with no severance and no bonus? And then discuss how their territories are being gifted, I mean "transferred."

i dont get the waiter-waitress comments. but, i asked my mgr and when people leave, they make an assessment. what is wrong with that? and, i asked about the bonus and the abandoned accts do count in history. so, i ask in all seriousness(know i will get beat up), what would you do different? i dont get it--this job is pretty darn good. feel bad that some of you are so unhappy. really do and hope you find some peace.

Kind of agree. I have posted before. What is the alternative? Who gets to manage those accounts? Someone has to.

That being said. Job is OK. Company is kind of a joke.

Hmmmm...20 hospitals mean more potential for someone that originally had ten. We don't need to get into the reasons why you don't understand why others would upset by this!!!!!! I asked my manager.... And I asked my manager....And then I asked my manager. You sound pretty empty headed and very, very Gullible.
I am shocked that you actually feel that "this job is pretty darn good". This only means you have never had an actual good job with a decent company and don't know the difference. On the other hand, it's probably good that you are a clueless bubble-head as this probably saves you from anxiety that everyone else suffers from....at least until the company eventually shuts down. Truly do your homework and look at the darn numbers okay? Do you think we are anywhere near the promised 13 million for this quarter? With only a handful of weeks left, we would have to achieve not a million but well over a million for ALL remaining weeks to even come close. It also has been leaked form a very reliable source that one of the regional managers is currently exploring other opportunities and many of us have discussed this. At least they are smart as it will take an even longer time to find an equivalent job like that versus a sales position. How much time do you think this company has? Just remember these last words and print them out if you need to as proof: when you get the call (and everyone eventually will), you receive your last 2 week paycheck, no severance, and no due bonus check. This is not a prediction, it is an inevitable fact. If you are not at least entertaining other opportunities than I feel even more sorry for you.

Well, I like how you say "when people leave"...some are leaving by choice, others are being fired with no severance and no bonus. I know for a fact that accounts that were gifted to reps last december (from the reps that were fired 2 weeks before Christmas) absolutely did NOT count into history for q1. Some reps made over 15k in growth in q1 bc gifted accounts were not counted into history. So, either your manager is lying or not telling you the whole story.

I completely agree with this post. My manager feels bad for bringing us into this mess, he has openly shared leads from his own job search and has offered at least a couple district members a reference. I can't believe my district is an enigma.

You're kidding right with this post? Sounds like you are not up to speed. I know of at least 4 managers looking right now and some of it has been confirmed by a recruiter. You would think you would know by now that everyone including the managers are playing "isn't this great!" until they have enough ample time to find another job. They need time too and have families to support. Do you honestly think any of the regionals go home at night and say to their wives " wow, things are going so well at Cadence and I love to work here!". You'd be surprised what is said behind closed doors like "disaster" "mistake" "sinking ship"
