LOL that was a good one. Nice try getting everyone heated up, but it didn't work. I loved the part "if senior management wants to reward us to retain our skills, by giving us accounts where others failed". Classic. In reality most accounts that were given to people, were reps that had poor sales all last year and now because they got 10 more hospitals added to their territory, they are suddenly climbing the ranks. Er duh, I wonder how that would happen?!? Most people know what reps do not deserve to be on the leader board.
As stated before, when a territory isn't going to be filled then it should be simply absorbed by another rep. In the beginning these territories were carefully slated out for potential. Someone that has double the amount of others is naturally going to have a very unjust and unfair advantage. You are a putz. The rank report at this point is inaccurate and needs o be scraped. It is mathematically incorrect and many people have decided to leave just for that reason.
