Bari

Was told this morning from a very reliable source that the Rheum reps will be ok and will be kept to help promote Talz and Forteo.
My manager who's my best friend has three kids and a wife who doesn't work. He's posting outside for a position at another company. I don't blame him. I on the other hand have 20 years with Lilly and am staying put to hopefully sell this drug or cash out on a severance.

Get your resumes ready Bari reps, managers, MHS and other support staff.

You are good people and the Bari reps may have been the "best of the best" at Lilly however it isn't financially viable to retain such a large sales force and support machine that will have minimal to no ROI.

This is an unfortunate situation however Lilly needs to do what is best for stock holders and that includes decreasing head count and OPEX.

Best of luck to all of you and thank you for your continued support during these difficult and uncertain times.

Relax, take a deep breath. Even if Bari needs a new trial that extends approval by 2-3 years the Bari sales sleeve will be kept. There are no generics of Forteo the company needs us to sell and train. Dont listen to the nay sayers. Ricks is committed to employees and knows that he needs to protect our careers.

THANK YOU! Your encouraging and uplifting advice means more than you know. We all need to keep positive attitudes and not loose hope. Lilly has invested lots of money in us and will not get rid of us because we can make a great impact selling Forteo, Talz and maybe even diabetes. Forteo, Talz and Diabetes reps are not as good as us and aren't hitting their goals so the company needs us to help keep the engines running.

Stay positive my fellow Bari reps and NEVER EVER let the negative people bring you down and remember WE ARE LILLY! Now is the time for us to show management we are the best of the best so stay positive and keep on smiling! With our smiles and positivity we make life better for our doctors, patients and our Lilly co-workers!!!

Laughter. Try to catch breath. More laughter. Gasp for air. Get your resume dusted off.

The Bari team was handpicked...true. Experienced this and don't believe what your told by anyone. Count on yourself. Use your business smarts to deduce what's going on. Managers are only told a few days before reps are. Your own manager may be your competition for a local territory. Be smart. Plan A , B ,C
We were sure we were safe. Only to find out new plan is nothing close to what you thought.

What does BOHICA stand for? I'm very worried for all my friends in this Division. My manager has also been pretty MIA over the last two weeks. I wonder if he knows already? Please clarify. True info only.

BOHICA
Bend over, here it comes again.

Best of luck to you. FDA put you in a tough spot. In today's corporate environment it's hard.

Stop being a downer, it's spring and summer days are just ahead. Try to lift up your offices with a smile and a breathe of fresh air. I wore my brightest yellow dress with a great summer hat today. At the grocery store they had a shipment of those large sun flowers and I bought the whole tub. Friday was like floating on air. You should see the smiles when our offices sparkle with a bright sun flower and a happy feeling. They know that Lilly is for them and that I am for the patient. Try bringing smiles you might find it opens the door for bringing Bari back and creates friendships that can last a lifetime. Remember the most important thing we bring to our offices is ourselves.

Again, I ask the question, who is a bigger drain on society, you or a welfare mom?

Did the value of those sunflowers get entered as a TOV to the physicians? Were those sunflowers Compliance approved to distribute? Otherwise you are in violation and subject to possible termination.

I'm sorry but representatives who do things like that negatively impact the perception of what we do. I realize that it's important to do inservices as doctors and staff have limited windows of time to receive information. However, your perception of adding value to an office has nothing to do with serving the patient. I'm very curious how you're planning on expensing your flower delivery service. I'm hopeful that your manager questions the receipt and you're investigated for what you've done. Please don't represent Lilly colleagues in that manner ever again. You are a prime example of why society has a negative perception of the pharmaceutical industry.

This is a prime example of the caliber of the reps in the Rheum Division. I bet buying flowers for offices was circulated as a "Best Practice" in this reps district. This is why you're not working in oncology.
