Bari

You are doing nothing to soothe our nerves and minds. Many of us are sitting on pins and needles terrified they will eliminate the great Bari force they created. If you are listening management team for the good of we reps please keep us and get rid of someone else like the extra diabetes reps or the oncology reps and market managers who we all know do nothing. Please hear the Bari reps cries for mercy sakes. Our nerves are breaking and I can only ask for my FB friends to pray for us so much. Please keep Bari reps cuz we have families to feed.

The most pathetic post ever. Grow up.

Unless my sarcasm meter is broken I believe this and the others about bari reps being best of the best were all sarcastic tongue in cheek digs at that sleeve. I may be wrong but that's how they read to me.

We share our true feelings and you say we are sarcastic? How dare you belittle the burden we carry on our shoulders in this very nerve racking time. From the time we were hired into this very important sales sleeve management looked us in the eye and told us we were hired because we are the best sales reps in the company so how dare you try to make us feel bad. This is our livelihoods and we have families to feed and mortgages to pay so this is serious. We need our jobs all of us are scared so I pray that management will save the Bari sales people and get rid of the people in oncology and mhs who do nothing or get rid of extra diabetes reps who are way to many.

Management help save us Bari reps. We will work hard and make lots of money for the company no matter where you have us sell. We are the best in the company and will not disappoint you! Thanx!!!!

True some of these are sarcastic. But the truth is the best of the sales force was brought over to sell Bari and now we don't have a product to sell. My guess is others will unfortunately have to go to make room for us- Lilly needs to keep its best people.

I'm a Bari rep and to be honest since the announcement I've been pretty paralyzed. When speaking to my customers they want to know why Bari was delayed. Then the next time I'm there I have no new information to provide. They're looking at me as to why I'm in the office. I've spoken to people in my district and they're experiencing the same thing. What's happening to the rest of you? What should I be doing?

As a very senior and tenured rep within the Bari Sales organization who has 25 plus years experience at Lilly in. Umerous roles, I agree that we are paralyzed on what to do with customers. I have had many less experienced junior reps seek my advice and all I can do is encourage you to stay positive. I know it is difficult to see Rheumatologists but we need to keep on knocking down those doors and go after the Forteo patient. Don't let the negative people get you down and stay positive!!! Customers love seeing our smiling faces and positive attitudes. We have excellent opportunity to be that little ray of sun shine in their day!

Glad to know Oncology, MHS and Diabetes folks are so wealthy they don't have mortgages and bills or families to feed. Sounds like they've all been taken care of and your sleeve is begging for peanuts.

In all seriousness, unfortunately it comes down to a decision on how to maximize profits. The industry is flush with highly qualified people. There is nothing about anyone being the "best of the best" in that profit equation. Lilly, like every other corporation at times has to get rid of very competent people I'm sure they'd love not to lose. Best of luck to all of you but the FDA put the company in a bit of a tight spot. Unless the path to approval is quick, maintaining a force with no appreciable revenue stream is not going to happen. Nor is the company going to arbitrarily ditch other reps in other sleeves just to retrain bari reps because of some mythical "best of the best" claim.

"the FDA put the company in a bit of a tight spot.....". WTF? Lilly's incompetent researchers put Lilly in a tight spot! Had they completed and submitted solid studies we would not be in this situation. How do you spell CORPORATE ACCOUNTABILITY?

i must agree that the researchers were arrogant. You can't claim to be 'different" than Tofa and expect that the FDA wouldn't look for 'different" side effects which was obviously discovered. Unfortunately, because only four studies were done, they need more information. This thing is going to be drawn out and unfortunately we're holding the bag. I can't believe that I left a secure position to sell Forteo which will only be viable for the next couple of quarters.

Not sure what is a bigger drain on society's resources; you or a welfare mom.

Do you know how difficult it is to access Rheumatologists?

My team really hasn't much of an issue. But we are all very tenured reps and add value on pretty much every call. This is again why we took our best reps and put them on Bari. Spoke with my manager yesterday and he said our team won't have much to worry about and they would make some cuts elsewhere in the organization because they want us around when we finally do launch.

There will not be a launch if FDA wants only Bari 2mg. Your manager told you what you wanted to hear.
