Annette Powers… doomed leader

Funny how she promoted Sebastion instead of Tammy W. So much for advancing capable women. She pathologically is opposed to advancing women. This is very disturbing behavior.
She has led many women astray with her false promises. Makes it seem like she has their back & she is one of them. Then betrays them. It has happened numerous times during her time here at BMS. Just ask the women that lost out. Many are no longer with BMS.

I wish her well as she stares left from the knotty pines

You are barking up the wrong tree. Leave DEI alone. Talk about competencies if you want to make sense. Tons of so called DEI in your eyes have been laid off this year and replaced with white and sometimes black individuals. Other groups have been heavily affected at BMS the same time as John. Look at the C suite, all incompetent white men who were responsible for the decision of taking down John as he did not support the useless layoffs. The layoffs should have started with the C suite for the major mess up instead of targeting the working class.
Thanks for the explanation Annette. No go back to hanging from your tree.

This entire thread is hysterical. Many truths. The. I read “the legacy of HEOR.” That team has been a revolving door since I joined the company over 15 years ago. There is no legacy - absolutely laughable

Can anyone explain what qualifies her to be an SVP of Access? Literally no formal training other than being an RPh. Limited experience in HEOR, Pricing, & Access. But when it’s comes to gossip, she is the queen.

No not Annette. Don’t know her much and don’t like her. Read the whole thing. Asking you to focus on the relevant points for effectiveness. When you bring up DEI, it dilutes everything you are saying. This country has all kinds of people of color, without color and religions and it is important that there is a general fairness for all who live here. If DEI is such a bother, why not talk about all the outsourcing that is taking up American jobs creating a wide gap between the working class and the C suite?

She is ex Celgene. The weirdos in the C suite do not have thinking caps. They have been approving Celgene, Kite and others for major promotions leaving behind the rest for layoffs.

But what about the $1.5 b in savings on the backs of working families after the C suite botched more than a $100B in acquisitions? It’s the only way to stabilize the company and soothe investors!

Targeting one specific individual at BMS is a pointless endeavour. The company is a Clown Show from top to bottom (esp. at the top).

I'd call this place a Mickey Mouse operation, but to be honest that'd be an insult to Mickey Mouse.
Truth. At BMS it takes a village to be this horrendous.......there isn't just one village idiot.

If they took away bonuses of all the C suite, SVPs and VPs and chopped everyone from Sr Dir to C suite into half, placed the rest on a 3 month furlough, they would save more instead of taking away everything from the people who are making 20 to 40 K in bonuses. There is no excuse for the scum at the top and investors who hit on the stomachs of so many employees and are still taking home big fat checks.

They could have just eliminated bonuses for all of the C-suite and SVP's this past year.

That is literally all they had to do to prevent thousands of people from being let go. A company with high integrity leadership that takes accountability for their underperformance would have done exactly that.

That they weren't willing to take even the slightest steps to do what is right tells you everything about the low character and piss poor leadership from this group.

100%.

101% this c suite is transparent about not owning their bad decisions. Which is why everything they have tried thus far comes across as insincere. They made bad decisions or didn't plan, didn't take responsibility, hired McKinsey and then fired 2200 people. Many of us got fkd in our bonuses and promotions but sure - your vacation plans, mortgages and tuition payments were unaffected. Neither were your retirement plans or health insurance.

We see you - all of you on a dais during town halls and know that you sincerely do not give AF about us because you haven't given up one thing. But sure take our pulse. Let the special people travel for work, force us back into the office and don't give us COLA wage adjustments. and for sure don't eliminate any boxes at the VP, SVP, VIP VP levels.

Good talk.

insincere is a good description of management. Boerner, Lenkowsky, Elkins, Gallman, etc. etc. would all probably rather push someone in front of a train track than take a haircut to their multi-million dollar bonuses

i know a lot of good people who were laid off that are genuinely struggling financially and were thrown into an awful job market. all for what? so some incompetent executive can afford not just a yacht, but a gold plated toilet on their yacht. god forbid they have to wait a year to get the gold plating.

Someone from BNOW must question her about her promotion practices. Maybe she does not see colour, gender, or age when it comes to men she promoted. Perhaps she needs help.

Promotion and kicking out should be very thoughtfully done which must include grounded individuals rather than reactionaries. There is no need of managers unless they know how to right a wrong which is not through useless promotions or kicking out. HR is almost useless and mostly anti women. They have no abilities and insist on targeting the weakest links rather than inept employees. They are blown away by big personalities and have no individual ability to understand the work and make no attempt to get to know the kind of work people do.

and pat themselves on the back for saving talents that were let go, as if they had nothing to do with kicking those people out

How's the dynamic between AP and KR? Both appear well connected, which one wins out?
Mancil, KR & Powers are a 3- headed hydra. They should be let go immediately. Access has turned into a fetid cesspool under their watch. Chris & Adam need a mop up operation here. It should have been done yesterday.
