Zoll Lifecor

Another posting saying $150-160k at plan. Which one is it? Well, the answer is no where near that. Buyer be aware. The previous post at $79k is much closer to reality. Very sad the misrepresentation from the company and it's recruiters. Ask the manager what you'll make if you're 99.9% to plan every month (used to be bi weekly quota). make them look you in the eye when they tell you

dust off your resume in about 6-8 months you will be looking again, see that med order goal you have wait it will eventually get beyond you in about 6 months. Sad, Sad place to work, the new VP will eventually be frustrated by the president and head elsewhere.

Hello. Was hired in December as clinical specialist for Zoll circulation covering 4 states. Made catheter quota Q2 at 104%, but my expected job was to train staff/physicians on Thermogard. Needless to say, i was let go in May due to" clinical knowledge not up to par" which is crap, since i am a BSN..granted, i never worked in ICU. But all my accounts appreciated me and did the best i could traveling 80-85% of the time. Lasted 6 months..go figure. If you like to be micromanaged, good luck... been in sales 9+ years..

I understand the previous posts that (clearly) zoll has some issues to say the least. Having no other venue to ask the question, does anyone have any idea how the market is in the DC/Baltimore, MD area? I neared they just hired new management (they cut current management terr in half) and may be adding TM headcount. Is it really THAT bad? I thought Medicare was covering this...

Can you please explain the difference in the divisions of Zoll. I am interviewing for a Hospital Division Rep which I was told by the recuiter is different than Zoll Lifecor. He did tell me I would make $160K at plan first year. That top 25% making $225-$275K and that top 10% is making over $300K. Thanks for your advice.

Looking at a territory in a southwest state, anyone know why rep left company? Worked dme before, interesting a product of this magnitude is paid weekly......any info on company or suggestions appreciated.

Look people, I have no dog in this fight. All I can say is, trust me, DO NOT TAKE THE SJ LIFEVEST JOB!!!! Every EP, Cardiologists, IC, and CT Sx in the territory knows about this product. The lifevest will NOT move in this territory. There were at least 4 reps before you in the past three years. You will rue the day you every accepted this position. Trust me. Never in the history of Cafepharma has there been a vortex like this territory. Consider me a good samaritan. I've warned you. When you interview and the manager is selling you more than you're selling him....Run!!

There are no new territories. Every doctor has heard about this thing and, until new literature or outcomes are , would they change their mind? The last 3 reps couldn't do it...what makes you so different.
Besides, they want to rent your relationships until you exhaust them and then you will have to move on. ML does not like sales reps, he sees them as a necessary evil.

Ugghhh, I heard through the grapevine that some idiot is taking the SJ TM position. Poor schmuck.... The recruiters and the managers must have done an amazing sell job on this dimwit.

Why don't you just STFU? Nobody gives a shit about your opinions. You're a loser who was probably rejected by Zoll. Zoll may have its issues but it rewards it's employees for performance. Go back to delivering bagels you pharma douche.

So if u wk hard, pay your dues and can actually sell, this is a good gig? I was recently laid off due to the FDA pulling the plug on a new analyzer I was representing, making my numbers but several of us had to go.....and I pulled the short stick. Thx for the posts.

Don't you know how to read, son? 4 reps gone in 3 years! I'm not saying that it can't be done but I'm sure every single one of those 4 reps had that newbie fire.

I am one of "schmucks" who is in the final interview process for the San Jose territory. My research has informed me that this is an expansion territory. I have also found some good leads for this territory including a potential clinical study using lifevest. I enjoyed my meeting with the manager. He was well spoken and never oversold the territory. The commission plan has not been discussed yet. I do plan to discuss the turn over for this territory. Anyone else have some objective input for this opportunity?

Consider yourself warned you fucking dimwit. Keep drinking the cool aid your recruiter is offering you stupid schmuck! San "Hose" territory has been a bleeding hemroid on zoll's ass for years. You did research you dumbfuck? I bet you called local reps- what do you think they are going to say? And the manager was "nice". It bet he was nice! I bet he is willing to blow your stupid ass just to trick some med device newbie into taking this garbage territory. I dare you to take this job- grab ur ankles and enjoy the ride fuckstick! Make sure to come back to this board in six months when you are crying like a bitch and tell us how you got bent over and worked like a prison ho. Happy selling!

You make me chuckle. Thank you for the objective insight. I can assume you were laid off by Zoll because of poor performance. The jump to medical sales did not work out so well for you???? Have you gone back to being a caterer for pharma yet??? Do you have any real insight to add? Btw I am not a med sales "newbie". I have plenty of med device sales but was considering this opportunity because it would offer me cardio experience.

Your paycheck will make you chuckle genius. You will need to wear a life vest because you will be drowning in shit you fuckin assclown. Don't worry about my credentials. I was giving some territory insight and warning you you will be in way over your head. Zoll is smoke and mirrors and sounds like you are the latest sucker in San Hose. Here's some insight- you are probably some post Pharma jack off all excited to sell anything other than Prozac and dick pills. Now you think you can put your big boy pants on and make a difference in that black hole territory. Keep dreamin fuckface. You want some? Just let me know!

You are a funny dude. Speaking of prozac, sounds like someone missed a couple of doses. Probably not covered by your COBRA plan. I can not believe Zoll let someone as eloquent as you get away. Which number were you in the 4 reps in 3 years let go? I would like to discuss this matter with you in person, however, I am not sure what time you are done working the drive-thru window.
