Good for you for sticking it out, however, don't judge people who call a spade a spade. You are looking at the world through rose colored lenses. Once you get laid off you will be bitter and pissed at yourself for supporting a company that have screwed you in every way the past five years.

This is for real. It will Happen. People who see 20/20 and are not the type to think if I work hard the next two weeks GOD will spare me.

Don't act superior to those that see the brick wall coming and resent the lack of respect given by this company to so many loyal employees.

For some, the fog never lifts. Merck is full of them.
 




Seeing I wont be around I'm scheduling RFM's like there's no tomorrow. I will not be filling out the spreadsheet either. When the retained reps get calls for lunches they don't know about, and it happens all the time, they will get very angry at Merck-moreso than they already are. That gives me a little bit of revenge but not much. Too bad. Create as many problems as humanly possible is my motto the next 2 weeks.

Good plan. Though I'm safe for this round, this might end up hurting those who still remain. But I certainly get the gist of your angst. I can't say I blame you. This place sucks
 




I don't suspect whoever stays will hear much from management about how Merck is #1 in customer feedback surveys.....

A dude in the south was fired today for misconduct. He had been going into sample rooms and taking a dump in Vytorin cardboard boxes. He left his gift in no less than 12 offices. Nas D.

WTF is wrong with this guy? Customers are not the problem! Leave the boxed gifts in the Malibu trunk, not with the customers. Jee-zus! If he gets a gig as a contract rep.or with another pharma and walks into any of those offices, he's fired all over again. Idiot.

I know I'm gone anyway. This company screwed me and a lot of other people. My sales numbers were good but I didn't get along with my manager the past few years so she docked me on all the things that don't matter. You kidding me? Never happen. I say stick it to 'email. They've created this environment- now they can live with it.
 




What will be funny to watch is the sales numbers in July forward. The amount of work that is not getting done is palpable. They'll blame it on all the disgruntled workers who are no longer here. You watch!
