YOU can't handle the truth ZOLL!

Make sure you dont spill any on the three or four sections highlighting your pathetic pharma career before you came over here. Not leave and go back to your company ford or chevy sedan and stop holding us all back!!

I think I've solved the problem as to why the designated managerial posters do not address the concerns highlighted consistently by multiple posters; Zoll's criteria for management hires is an IQ below 50! These "dull" individuals can't understand the concerns! They are told by Senior Leadership that Zoll is great, so they resort to insulting the very people they hired...

What company tells managers to go on this site and put positive comments out there to refute ALL the negative comments? One threatened company that doesn't want candidates to know the truth. The lie in the interviews, they lie on this site and they will lie to your face until you resign or are let go. They want you to lie to customers playing connect the dots with studies that do not include LV. Lie about reimbursement lie about tech support, lie about everything! Lies, lies and more lies!

All 100% true! The best lie of all, and the one that really pisses ML off, is Zoll being your 2nd job and just milking it for the salary!!!

I think it's absolutely hilarious and awesome that people get paid to do the 5 to 10 hour work week at this place. Regional managers, area directors, and territory managers. Nobody works at all. And the idiots at this place don't even realize it.

Shhhhhhhh...I like my job's primary perk. Its commonly referred to as SLACKING and I have become very good at it :)

unfortunately being that the goals are so unattainable once you get past a year or year and a half, you might as well ply work 5-10 hours per week and get a second job. Karma is a bitch!

5 to 10 hours a week? you guys are crazy, I work 1 hour a week. And guess what I do during that one hour a week that I actually work? That hour is spent on the phone arguing with my Account Cordinator or somebody in intake. And that is the only hour a week that this company will get from me. Before management gives me a come back right now saying maybe if I would go out and work more I'd hit goal, well, here's my answer for you, I AM hitting goal. I'm actually a top ranked rep, and I still hate it so much, everything about it, that I'm trying to get out right now. So that should tell many of you that are researching the company something. Also, the original poster to this thread is totally hundred percent true, all of it. All of the things stated in the original post on this thread are the reasons that I still desperately Am trying to get out of this company, even though I'm a top ranked rep. It has nothing to do with my quota or anything financial , they could lower my quota for me and It wouldn't change me leaving. My issue is my credibility and reputation is getting completely destroyed with this device and how our company operates. My credibility is not worth this company. It will never change, which is why I am leaving. The lifevest is going to get pulled from Medicare reimbursement in the next couple years anyway and all of the commercial plans will follow their lead.

I saw the Zoll booth at SCCM this past weekend. Nice looking and very busy traffic this year. Nice job to the crew working it and keeping a positive outlook on a wonderful life saving device!!

That's because Zoll was too cheap and irrelevant to occupy a larger foot print. I suppose being next to the medical textbook vendors and magnetic bracelet tables could easily be construed as interested foot traffic. Chances are however, they were looking for the restrooms and trash cans. Hey I am sure you positively did get in there way however, I wouldn't mistake the willingness to stop as an indication of interest, they probably didn't speak English.

Yeah because so many customers out there aren't familiar with the life vest after 10 years and 22 different reps calling on them. All the traffic must be Doctors flocking to the booth to hear the new news on the latest earth shattering clinical trial on the life vest!!!!! Maybe the want to see what our Cracker Jack engineering team has done this time with cloth and cotton to make the vest even more uncomfortable. I know if I was there I would have ran over to the booth just to here the breaking news!! Can anyone go over the Cadillac trial again for me?????

Let me tell you about a really nice day I had recently. You see I moved on from Zoll not long ago, for the reasons you can clearly read about in the above posts. And to further clarify for the management trolls, yes I was over 100 percent to plan. So I get a telephone call from my VP of sales and HR manager. They tell me they have a marketing candidate from Zoll ,who is in the final interviewing process for a position with my new company. They then ask me what my experiences were with this person while at Zoll. The reason they ask me, is because I violated every rule while interviewing for my new company and told them that I wanted to leave because of the unethical practices and lack of leadership at Zoll. As we all know your never supposed to trash the company your leaving, but I wanted to make sure my new company understood that I would not partake in any practices that my jeopardize my relationships with long standing customers. So I told the truth about Zoll management and leadership team, from hot tubs, to marketings feeble involvement with the product. Let's just say I did my little part to insure the cancer stays at Zoll. So marketing person (and yes this person is at the top of the food chain) accept my little gift for the years of misery and unethical leadership you provided. So managers take head, do your homework when you interview for your new opportunity, and make sure non of the people you devalued over the years work for the company your interviewing with. Remember Nurnberg?

Trust me I get it and appreciate your honesty, but now we're still stuck with him. However, the issues here go much deeper than 1 person in leadership.

At this point the issues are very simple to summarize. The lifevest is overpriced, is not needed, is a pain in the ass for the patient and the doctors, and is a major burden to cost in the healthcare system. As other posters have stated, it's a niche product that had a short run here making some money, and Medicare will pull it from reimbursement in the next year or two if not sooner. leadership knows this and the reason they are doing all of the things they're doing and ignoring the field about issues is because their decisions are all currently based on short-term revenue goals until everything crashes, anyone that has business sense and a brain should be able to realize what their strategic plan is. but all of you idiots can continue to listen to your RM tell you that the device is going to be in guidelines at some point one day. Lol. Yes after 12 years of being on the market, and no evidence-based medicine, and a failing VESTstudy right now that all of our study sites keep dropping out of. Is that the study that's going to get us put in guidelines? Lol, Don't be such a bunch of idiots people, wake up! I woke up and I'm putting my two weeks notice in this week!

let us not forget the lovely FDA letter that cites issues across the board from quality control, reporting and manufacturing.....stay tuned!!!

I am embarrassed that we don't have a more professional approach in discussing organizational issues. Why air our dirty laundry on here? Please approach management with your concerns and make it known that we MUST do a better job of providing both customer and employee satisfaction. It disturbs me that I see so much negative rhetoric on here regarding company performance and policies and so many product related issues. If we are missing the mark (and it quite apparent according to our field sales group that we are), change has got to be made!!! Lets try to resolve these concerns to make this a more enjoyable experience for the employees we invest our time in and that want to call this a fabulous place to work...we have some work to do before that can happen. Thank you all for your understanding

Are you kidding. You want to extend an olive branch after you have created policies which are counter productive to sales? We go to meeting after meeting only to be scuffed at at told to shut up or leave. If your so concerned then why are account reps compensated to make sure our inventory is at a bare minimum? Why do they lose compensation if a vest stays in the field longer than ( according to my account rep, 15 days, then 6 months later 20 days than a year later back to 15 days) I had a patient being hooked up one day after a vest had been in the field 21 days. Only to have to have it sent back to Zoll and me having to drive an hour and a half to pick up a vest from another territory! Idiot manager couldn't intervene with common sense, he has non. How about the two patients that died with the vest on. Zoll never sent the Dr the report showing the tracings!! How about the patient who had short runs of SVT WHO NEVER PASSED OUT BUT GOT SHOCKED 11 times on the way to the ED. To top it all off , I got a notice from Zoll telling me it's a save!!! How about tech support receiving calls from patients who want to remove the vest, and transfer the call to logistics so the patient can return the vest!!! We supposedly have a POLICY in place which is supposed to notify the sales rep of such a incident. When is the last time anyone ever got a call??? Not me!!! How about PSRs having money taken away? How about managers with no cardiac experience that are doing ride alongside and can't speak? How about we have waited long enough!!! Fix it now or continue to see massive turn over!!!! NO MORE bare with us!!!!

Says the brand new jackass who apparently can't read!?!? Everyone has tried your approach for multiple years with no success. Management's unwillingness to listen and/or change is what has resulted in people taking to this forum to warn other perspective employees!

Let's first bring back all the "A" players we got rid of, make right with all the employees we unfairly treated, and get rid of the horrible management at the top and their decision making created this mess in the first place. Then we can discuss this in a "civil" way. Otherwise, it's like trying to negotiate with Hitler. It ain't the negotiation process that's the problem.

agreed. the first thing liars want to get rid of is transparency, and to "start fresh' even though they never gave that chance to others after ruining their lives.

This is a leadership that tells it's account coordinators and intake specialists to lie to territory managers about policy changes and just start to adopt them but don't tell them about it and are actively told not to tell TMs about it, should show you in a nutshell what this company is operated and how fucked up it is.I have had an account Cordinator quit and an intake specialist quit , both of them called me the day after quitting and told me that they constantly have weekly meetings in corp about how to lie to the territory managers and keep things from them just so they don't hear us bitching about it. Transparency? I am literally embarrassed of this company , embarrassed of our customer service, embarrassed of the device, and embarrassed that I even work here and that it is on my resume
