Fair and productive??? Define productive. Hollow words with no meaning. I could use a generalization and say everyone in management is an underperformer with a lack of vision and little comprehension of what the customers needs are? Would this be a fair assessment of the management team??? What have you done? Clinical literature to support product use? NO. Tech support that is a well oiled machine that helps sales? NO. Reimbursement by most large payers? NO. A seasoned team of people in place to tackle reimbursement issues? NO. A well thought out quota and comp plan that keeps turnover low? NO. Happy PSRs that don't have money taken away for being 1 hour late on faxing paperwork? NO. Experienced management team? NO. And on and on and on! So I ask you, what the fuck are you talking about???

Unfortunately, this is what all upper management fails to realize when they assign RM's to counterbalance the negative (see true) posts on here:

Everyone that has resorted to coming on this site and making a post has already left mentally. It is possible that they have not physically been able to leave yet, but that ball is in motion. The posts are not for them at this point. The posts are to alert others of their experience at Zoll. Many (see most) feel lied to and manipulated. Those feelings are often times strong enough that they feel compelled to save others from making the same mistake.

Nothing will change until upper management realizes that it is the company as a whole (product, lack of data, processes, people, reimbursement, etc...), and not the TM's, that is responsible for the near 70% turnover!

And look where you are now. DME Managing pharm reps. Lol your resume is no better than mine. I took this job because it was a cushy end to my sales career, where all of my big money was made in heart valves and pacers. What a surprise I recieved when I dived into the process and procedures at Zoll. In my 25 years of sales and sales management, I have never seen a more mismanaged unethical organization. Management never addresses any of the sales forces concerns. Management, like the above poster, should realize the employees are looking for a career, and at first started voicing concerns positively because they felt like they were part of a team. As time went by, it was clear that management was not the least bit concerned with the cries of a sales force, who were looking for support from there company in order to achieve there goals. These cries were not from underachievers as you state, but from leaders and producers that were experiencing Zoll policies, that were hindering there ability to make money and develope solid long lasting relationships with Doctors. The result was massive turnover and a management attitude of, get out if you don't like it. This way of thinking violates ever sales leadership course I have ever been part of. It is scripted from the very top, and is amplified by several minions like the above poster. Like it or leave. Were right your wrong. The divide between sales, who is in the trenches everyday, and management who finds it difficult to roll up it's sleves, has never been greater. History has shown that organizations with such a dived are doomed for failure. The cleansing approach to firing and rehiring employees is a short term fix. Fortunately this is my last stop before enjoying the riches of my past professions. I have nothing to fear or lie about. I can only Comment that your statements and assumptions above, are childlike, and would be similar to you pulling down your zipper and comparing to the manager next to you.
 






The arrogant decline of leadership in medicine has been taking place for 10+yrs now and evident by the "corporate comments above". Physicians/Hospitals even patients used to trust competent, articulate, ethical partners. However, the shit4brains strategies of mass market approach and out of touch forecasts (i.e. not enough patients for your product) have driven this industry down the toilet. Kudos to the articulate comments as to the failure of the company (pretty fair balanced), warnings to future employees with a brain, and airing the laundry for providers and patients to easily query the truth behind this shit-show. Now as for an "exit strategy" well, I have been working mine for 2yrs. as have a lot of people. This place is not my identity, anymore, this place is not my only source of income anymore, this place's practices no longer operate behind the scenes anymore. Good luck expanding when I leave. You will remain flat with declining reimbursement, access and utilization. Way to grow a market JW!

Again a complete "wishful thinking" statement. To get on here and post about traffic at a booth as a vendor at a convention is pathetic. Please go get on all of the credible medical device company forums on this site and see if there's anybody posting about their traffic at a booth as a vendor. Really leadership ? that's the only thing you can post on this thread to try to make things positive? How about the same person that wrote quote, why don't you respond to all of the factual issues that are not fixable with this stupid company and stupid device that the original poster to this thread posted? The truth is out about this company and the device, and the recruiters know it and don't care because they just keep making money on the turnover and rehiring, but other device companies are onto it and don't have an interest " ZOLL lifevest" on the resume! it automatically gets pushed to the bottom of the pile. How do I know?because I've been job searching and so have many others at this company for a while and many of the recruiters and hiring managers at other companies have bluntly told me. I'm going to Lowe's today to try to find the most powerful stain remover there is to try to get the shit stain skid mark off my resume. I'm not sure if they make one though.
