Worst Managers here?

Hahaha. That's funny. I don't need to be afraid. I got an offer last week with a higher pay and a way better boss and company culture. No one should have to work in fear. If it's that bad where everyone should be afraid, more of us should leave. There are other opportunities out there. Life's too short to play the afraid game. Good luck to you

Absolutely spot on!

I'm really shocked how this has turned into a few reps hiding behind anonymity while calling out their bosses, by name. Rarely do we get a chance to see that on CP.

Here's an unpopular view: you guys are fucking crybabies. You have to see your boss 1-2 times per month and your RBD 2-3 times per year. Get over it.

How about a new thread titled "Worst Reps". I am confident many managers would be happy to contribute.

Sounds good. Start the thread there tough guy. Oh wait. Do you need your rep to teach you how? Like your business plans, mid year reviews, end year reviews, POA work or anytime you RBD asks for anything? Seriously explain to me one important thing a DM does?? Just one. Offices hate you. Docs hate you. The staff really hates you. Your reps want to puke seeing your ride along requests. Your clowns. Your seen as a clown show. We are told daily.

Waaahhhhhh. Are you still crying, little guy? Get it all out. That big, mean boss of yours has got you down, huh? Poor thing!

medical affairs management in this company top to bottom so incompetent makes sales management look like geniuses. drain the swamp

Agreed! I left, and you have no idea how great a few days away feels. I do feel bad for friends and colleagues who are still there, but many of them won't be there too much longer.
Your Executive Directors are incompetent at best, both need to go. Neither have communication skills, not honest, and certainly not transparent. Management through FEAR and INTIMIDATION is unnecessary. Both have their own agendas. Your Strategy Director could not direct her way out of a well lit hotel hallway. Glad I won't be there to see her run your organization without the help of vendors. About 2/3s of your Field Directors check the box and don't really care. This may have been a great place to work, but I agree with the above. Medical affairs management is overdue for fresh blood, ideas, and a thorough draining. Imagine, a diabetes medical affairs management team who has never managed a diabetic patient.
Mic drop!

Left a few days ago, could not be happier. Feel bad for my dear friends left behind, but many them will be leaving too. Agree with your comments. Their lack of recognition and respect made my decision to leave much easier. IMHO your EDs need to go. Both are dishonest, incompetent, and not transparent. Both manage through FEAR and protect their favorites. MSO Senior Director couldn't direct her way out of well-lit hotel hallway. Glad I won't be there to see your ship sink with her in charge, no vendor support, and just her multiple generations of fellows. Field directors don't care any more and are in the dark until their leader tells them what to say and when. With the exception of a few, they are glorified secretaries just checking the box. For a diabetes company, it's peculiar that there is no one in the field medical affairs management team with any diabetes or obesity clinical experience. And these are the people who are leading? Agree with draining the swamp. You want to improve the lives of obese or diabetic patients? Take care of them once in your life you so you understand. Or, at least let those people who have the experience help manage and develop strategy. Mic drop!
