Yet another arrogant dismissal from mid-upper management. You wonder why people want to leave here. Between the unconscious bias training and the lack of appreciation, it’s only a matter of time before the reps that give a crap (the ones that can actually sell something) get pushed out of here and you’ll have another faltering drug like you do with Enbrel trying to maintain market share...

You take good products/launches and botch them because your friends That suck at selling Complain long enough for you to change the IC plan so they can make a pay out for a change... You, my friend, nailed management to a Tee. They hire their friends who can’t sell their way out of a wet paper sack. Then the manager complains to the rest of the team and holds them accountable but doesn’t hold their friends to the same level. You know who I am talking about!
 






Blincyto is Dead !!!!!! Ino, has taken over the market. Reps have no access!!! some do not even have Hem. Experience ! all they do is sit home and make power point account plans. Management ,is horrible! the head of the Blina team came from Target store chain ( Really). Marketing does not even know the difference between a lymphoid line and a Myeloid cell line, Blina was a great product , but leave it to Amgen to screw it up!!!!

spot on. I was hoping that our acquisition of the Otezla management would infuse us with some performance focus, but my understanding is that we have run off every single on of them: the head of sales, the head of marketing, the head of commercial and the head of medical. Damn. Could we stop training people like it was 1995 and start living in like it's at least 2000? That would catch us up to being only 20 years late.

Does Amgen not read any of this and think maybe they should shift their ‘90’s selling model that has proven doesn’t work. When has the close, “dr for your next 5 ra patients, will you use Enbrel” ever worked?

It’s time to re-evaluate and take some direction from the Otezla team! It just seems so common sense and obvious. And yet Amgen keeps pushing more crap down the line. Co-promote Enbrel/Otezla- right because the pod system really works. Non stop pointless training- the training team is a bunch of morons! Seriously, worst training department I’ve ever experienced. The list goes on!

That's just like the Repatha teams still have mirror counterparts in some territories! WTF? Not to mention several people calling on the SAME offices! Ridiculous and a waste of money.

CHARLESTON — A senior employee is suing a biopharmaceutical company, alleging retaliation and wrongful termination.

Kimberlee A. Duran-Woomer of Wood County filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against Amgen USA Inc., Jeff Dyer and Erich Reger, alleging the defendants terminated her employment after she made complaints regarding alleged unlawful practices.

According to the complaint, Duran-Woomer began working for the defendants Jan. 23, 2017, as a senior biopharmaceutical representative. The suit says on May 11, 2017, despite Duran-Woomer consistently performing her job duties in a satisfactory manner, she was terminated after making complaints regarding Amgen's improper training and coaching, which encouraged off-label marketing.

Duran-Woomer says she became concerned that when the defendants admonished her for sticking with company policy, Amgen actually was coaching her to market its product off-label.

The plaintiff alleges Amgen USA, Dyer and Reger terminated her employment after she complained of Amgen's violation of substantial public policies of West Virginia laws.

Duran-Woomer seeks trial by jury, damages, all remedies, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney fees, court costs, injunctive relief, and all other just and equitable relief. She is represented by attorneys Jeffrey Foster and Rodney A. Smith of Bailess Smith PLLC in Charleston.
