Will Rotech be around long?

Another company wide RIF tomorrow. Rotech's only answer to poor performance. RIF the field staff so Phil can buy another house. It's criminal what they have done to this company.

What's Phil's house have to do with company performance? Most all executives are well compensated for running large company s, and Phil is no different.

You are correct in that it is not directly about Phil's house, but the question is this...
If a company is NOT performing that well, then why do the executives still deserve compensation?

Clearly, upper management does not have a clue. Why not start the RIF's with them? Don't start with the people who actually care for and serve the patients!

AnnnnnD there is the problem!

The same cookie cutter approach to business, be it Rotech or the DME down the road.

If the location workers had the same sense of "entitlement" as the executives in this company...boy watch out.

There would be tales of workers being talked to with respect, patient's getting more updated equipment in all areas and not just the few, driving better equipment for the safety of the employees and I am sure a couple of others along this line.

No one is saying the guy/girl at the top doesn't deserve a higher pay. It's the continuation of this company's top people shoving it in the face of their employees taking the cuts and working until they are burned out while they are at the 'beach".

Where's that fiddle while Rome burns? (tongue in cheek of course)

Several AMs were let go during last weeks RIF along with around 35 SRs. DVPs are discussing a complete or partial RM RIF now. There are more SR RIFs coming and location closures. About 25% of the locations are at risk of closing and 50% of the SRs are at risk of being RIFd.

You can obviously still post, as you made this one. We do not block IP addresses from searching. It sounds like there may be something on your end such as a firewall or other security setting, causing the issue.
