Will Rotech be around long?

She treated him like crap...and he was only trying to do what was right for everyone..So has anyone heard if it is the one she announced is taking the positon. Or has she filled that spot with someone else already...Understand she was interviewing again.

This company is clueless. If you already have established relationships you shouldn't worry and if your pretty seasoned in dme you can manage. However, the management of this company is clueless as to separating operations and sales. You'll be managed by someone who used to be a delivery driver or customer service rep. Which means.....they know absolutely nothing about sales or sales processes. So if you have trouble with something in the field, they have no idea how to help. I'd advise you to run everything through yourself...stay long enough to jump on with a manufacturer. This company will not be around long unless they win competitive bids, which by the way show how messed up Medicare is that they allow a bankrupt company to even bid. Btw, rotech is clueless when it comes to hospital sales.....you know where all the easy o2 comes from.

By starting with your own office....work together...have an LCM that can get everyone excited to be part of it all....and you will drift more to the ONO's that are going to PRODUCE for you :)

All the Nationals do it. Care Check, REDI Check, Care Plus. Don't tell me the doctors have not caught on to all the fishing being done. Try getting an ONO from a pulmonologist. They will laugh in your face.

Fishing days are over!!

Rotech has already closed the office in Fallon, Nv. Other closeures to come

It's about time they woke up and took action. To many stores have had really bad LCM's that were not capable of getting anything done but their own personal agenda of shopping and etc. Makes it hard on the LCM's who work their butts off and really care about their employees.

Then you have the AM's who come under the heading of, "wash, rinse and repeat". Nothing new, nothing exciting to get the workers excited.

After losing so much money in the first quarter, they need to thin out some of the stores once and for all

To the contrary, what it is that they DO do is to keep the worse location open, only to close or siphon patients from more productive locations in the area.

You are spot on with that one!

Rotech finds itself in a curious position. If a location loses money, they are required nonetheless, to service the patients they have. Yet no one buys their stock, and no one is nuts enough to acquire them with their liabilities.
Rotech is a poster child for reasons not to allow a national company with poor management to acquire government contracts (medicare, VA, ect.) Otherwise, you can't help but wonder if regulators are giving a nod and wink to insider activities within such a worthless company/stock.
The government DOES NOT WANT rotech to collapse. The better alternative is to rip off large numbers of small stockholders with the help of large fund executives.
