Who has /had the worst manager

How long until the company puts non performing RSDs on performance plans? Are they allowed to put everything on all their reps or does the company finally look at the RSD? No growth ever, time to look at the RSD and stop blaming the reps. Manger should have some responsibility at some point.


I heard of a manager that has had 5 reps in one territory in less then 3 years and she is still eating at the table. Reps get blamed first as always, easier to blame a rep rather than a manager.

Totally agree here. Management needs to be evaluated in all departments. Managers are quick to throw blame but not offer support for development and growth. A nonperforming rep or employee is a reflection of a nonperforming manager. These people will never get the concept. I always look forward to performance review time where my manager acts like a Saint.

A manager that has not had any growth in a couple/few years will be cut at some point. They will give them a very long time, and will put some pressure, but it will come. Difference is managers get fired on the spot, no plan.... At least 1-2 are close.
 






Hey Andy, surprised you visit this site. News flash, not all your managers are perfect. Some have no clue what they are doing. You did some team conference calls, I am sure you noticed a difference. Start there.
You can also start with the ones that maybe travel a little more than normal, 3 days in hotels for 1-2 day rep ride-along. Red flag there!
 






Well I guess HR hasn’t found the nerve to post noooo they are busy running around seeing who to avoid/cut/fire..New Year same bull. Yes I’m disappointed and will use this platform to vent. Hopefully I will take the plunge soon and quit but I’m sure that’s what they are all waiting for.

HR is too busy stealing PTO to respond at the moment. When they decide to show up for work then We will get a response.
 






If you need HR help contact TD or JP they are the most competent. Everyone else is a waste of time. Do these people return phone calls ever?

Rosemont was so peaceful for the Holidays due to AK being on vacation. The location was so peaceful with the Wicked Witch away on her broom. We must brace ourselves for her return.

The NSM should be fun, a bunch of horrible individuals all sucking up to Joe trying to climb up the ladder even though their teams hate them.

Some of the managers I can't even imagine how they were hired, they truly are bad, especially some of the female manages who have a chip on their shoulders.

Get over it Tootsie - Sometimes the truth hurts. But let me guess, youre one of the ones who goes running to HR when 1 of your reps utters a nasty word. Before you board the plan, make sure you stop at Walgreens and get yourself some extra maxi - pads

You're so right and I apologize. That was wrong for me to make those comments, I should have said, at Walgreens, purchase some knee pads and chap stick. You'll have all kinds of time on the Florida sun to be on your knees
