I left Astellas in 2011 as I found it to be the most decisive and toxic environment I've ever worked in.m I could give one shit if they ever fix it or not! I am only here to state my agreement of how corrupt HR is with this company! My story would be similar to others, I was just fortunate enough to be in a position to tell them to bite my ass!

Can you break it down and explain what makes this place "suck"?
I have an interview next week and want the truth.

I don't mind working hard and putting in full days. But for some one to put hard working people on a plan and a toxic, threatening, hostile environment is not my cup of tea.
 






Stay away unless this is your only employment option. Products are sold by offering deep price discounts and zero clinical support so unless you are in an area that has great formulary coverage, you are screwed. There are no products in our pipeline. Upper management is basically a boys club made up of big pharma rejects that act like we're still in 1990's and HR supports a culture of subjective bullying and discrimination. Perhaps all of this is true in this feed and it's not just a bad rep not able to do their job. It's a culture, a mindset. Astellas is a very caustic environment IF you are in the wrong area, or region.

The only thing nice I can ever say about my time at Astellas is it is the only job I ever had where I was banging my boss. For our field rides, she would have me come to her home - cook breakfast, and we would do a little work then spend the rest of the day fucking like wildcats. I would shower/swim and head home for dinner. ..... unless I had a lunch. Then we would fuck after lunch. fond memories
