We're getting our overtime lawsuit payout in August!

Hey Gang, I just got a letter in the mail from SWH telling me that there is going to be a delay on the settlement of this case citing "adjudication reclassification" and that there will be a hearing on December 18th. The legal-verbage from what I can tell is putting some doubt into this actually resulting in a check.

I guess waiting this long won't make a difference if I wait longer, but now I'm bumming out that we won't actually get our $.

FYI....

My letter stated hypothetically you might receive
1yr making less than 100,000=approx. $8,640 and over 100,000=approx. $4,320
So don't know where your info.is coming from

There were two letters sent out one had the higher figure and one the lower it depended on when you 'OPTED" in to the suit. I recieved the higher one and my good friend got the lower one we compared the letters and she remembered being afraid to opt in a few years back and never sent the paperwork back so she was only going to be included for a couple years not all the years. Hope that helps!!

I just called the admin (# on letter), not the law firm, and they stated to call back mid next week...no further information. No dates yet on when the settlements will be mailed.

You guys are pathetic! The case was settled you morons! This is done. You're all just trying to do what you do best, talking BS. Checks will be here by end of August at latest

Just called 1 877 251 1448 Checks have NOT gone out. No information as to when the checks will go out. Guy on the phone (Chris) was very vague about when updated information will be available.

I recommend everyone call every f-ing day until they come up with better information.

Guy said that checks haven't been cut yet. So I then asked if this case was a done deal and settled. He said yes. I then asked word for word what you wrote on here and the guy said didn't hear anything about that. Now I'm not sure who's right. I also called swh and left them a vm on same topic. Hopefully we can all get the right answers

Talked to Jen at the Chicago office. She said the checks were delayed as they had to go back to court. With the supreme court throwing out the case Novartis is fighting the settlement. Dec 15-18 was the dates to see if Novartis would truely have to pay or not. Good chance we won't get overtime since we are classified as salary workers.

Just wondering, if it's true that the case is going back to court, then why at 655pm this afternoon why did the claims administrators office tell me they hope to have the mailings figured out by Monday and to call back then for specifics.....don't think they would say to call back if checks weren't coming soon
