Viiv

If you are telling us the truth, THANK YOU!! I have a family and am terrified of what ViiV / GSK would do to me if I reported this issue. GSK has a long history of retaliating and I have seen it on a local level many times. The call activity report that is being used in the West is not only unfair, it's unethical. Thank you for speaking up!
Out West huh? Thats where the whole thing started with the 3 Billion whistle blower settlement in 2012. Hmm some things never change I see. Wouldn't go to the hotline, that just gives the company the opportunity to cover up and bury you in one swoop. I'd seek competent Qui Tam attorney right away. They got you covered on employment law, and if you have knowledge to unethical, illegal and fraudulent activity, they can help you there too.

I do not believe attorneys will be necessary on this one. The issue in question is blatantly obvious. The person(s) responsible for implementing this unethical initiative will be held accountable. The issue has been made public, so to speak. It will require a response from HR. There is no getting around this one. Not even for GSK..aheem ...ViiV. If people have complained to the integrity help line it will only help to validate the abuse of power and reckless decision making by mid management. What's so sad about this is that it should never have had to get to this point. Everyone understands that face to face engagements are the ideal scenario. Everyone wants to be in front of the customer. The problem is that the customer does not want us to be in front of them, at least not yet. I noticed that RSD's are now "encouraging" physical work contacts. Noticed a photo of a work contact on workplace today. There was absolutely no social distancing in the selfie they took! How in the world can we demonstrate credibility to our customers and to the public when we have morons like this completely ignoring CDC guidelines regarding social distancing yet we want our customers to embrace guidelines pertaining to our products? I blame management on this. 100%. Let's see what the next few weeks bring us. I believe human resources HAS to act on this. If not, you will see another whistle blower case.

Look for Fink to really demonstrate her leadership abilities on this one. We've nothing to worry about .Get ready for her to finger- point her way out of this.

This is one of those great moments where management got caught with their hand in the cookie jar. We all knew that management was sneaking cookies when no one was looking but could never prove it. This time they have their hand in the jar and crumbs on their face and it was seen by many and captured on film. It demonstrates that certain leaders care only about the mighty dollar and how they rank against their peers. If our people get sick, die, infect customers, infect family members they could care less! It is beyond obvious and the actions of a specific individual prove it.

Look for a ton of compassion from Fink if you or a loved one becomes I'll or accidentally passes it on to an I'll relative. Management needs to be barbacued on this one. People need to be fired on the spot and no golden parachutes.

Can someone enlighten me as to what the hell we are talking about? What is this BIG issue that HR is going to have to deal with? I'm trying to follow this thread but everything is vague. Who did what and when it happen? Details please.

Wake up! Were have you been the last 6 months. If someone has to explain what's been happening to you than you truly are a clueless rep. God help this company. Where done find these people???

#66. From what I have been able to gather it has to do with an AVP gone wild! Creating their own rating and ranking system based on call activity. The system apparently rewards individuals who enter the field and make face to face calls and penalizes those who don't. The individual seems to be throwing employees health safety out the window during an unprecedented pandemic. A pandemic which its severity has been well documented. If this call activity evaluation criteria has been signed off by upper management ie Fink, Baxter and Waterhouse, then the AVP is just executing directives from the company and has nothing to worry about. If it hasn't been approved by upper leadership, the AVP could find themselves in serious trouble. Placing the company in a very bad place legally. Can you imagine if an employee was forced to re-enter the field and contracted COVID-19 and then suffered a morbid event? If is was proven that they transmitted the virus to other customers, friends or family members? The litigation would be massive! Remember, we call on infectious disease physicians. They are at ground zero for this virus. If we were calling on dermatologists in may be a different story. So this issue seems credible and very very serious.

Sounds like you speak of Ol' Schwartzy. I think he had something to do with the problems out West. Something about taking a bunch of docs to the Four Seasons in Hawaii. Dunno, but clearly you have leadership that are way out of their league.

You floor mopping shoe shining liar. Sue your trailer trash whore mother for not aborting you.

Wow. I am still laughing my butt off at you!! You have something seriously wrong with you! Just stating a real interaction. Your anger and ugliness seems to be the norm these days. Too bad and so sad for you and anyone that has to face you daily. Since you assume I come from trailer trash.....bless your heart!

just leave, pussy. We gots work to do.

I hate to tell you this, but that “unethical” company doesn’t even talk about our drugs anymore. Our drugs have made us the laughingstock of the offices we go into. Why would anyone target drugs that have 1-2% of the market, when the old crappy products still have 5-15%? Humiliating
I can confirm this

Why should I leave? Why should anyone be pushed out of this organization by unethical people? I am an investor in this company and have dealt with a stagnant GSK share price for years. I have invested my livelihood in this company. I have a husband and family who rely on a large portion of my income. I believe in the products we promote and I enjoy my job. We are in the middle of one of the most chaotic periods of our lifetimes and I will not allow myself to be bullied or harassed by one unethical individual. I don't care what their position is or who the know! Last time I checked this is still America and I have a right to stand up for myself! If you are scared of retaliation, I completely understand. Just know that some of us have had all we can take when it comes to unethical idiots at this organization. You want to lay people off? Great! Who will you manage? Just remember, the TAM's completely justify your professional existence. It's really pretty simple. So fire me if that's what you want to do. But I'm not going to risk my health or my families health for a couple of prescriptions.

so... you can work from home and a f2f is counted the same as a virtual interaction? And you can make phone calls ? I am not sure why that is unethical. Some states can go in person and some are shut down bu public health. I get the metric system needs a serious fact check that states that are shut down should not be measured by the same system as a state that is open. I want to laugh when they review numbers and wonder why the switch launch numbers aren’t blowing up. Ummm well, there is this thing called covid and patients are seeing doctors remotely and insurance won’t allow a switch. Just be thankful through this we all still have jobs it could easily change. Play the management game - we in sales always have to do that to some degree. Unethical, law suit? Not sure that will happen. Stay safe. Oh and stop posting non masked pictures hugging on workplace dumb asses! That is a bigger safety issue, maybe something there! Luckily our managers are not endorsing this behavior. Some of them need a 6 foot distance reminder.

it seems GSK is behind pushing f2f interactions not Viiv. Some managers seem to be pushing this within Viiv and congratulating people for f2f interactions. I get it. If the state is shut down it is your choice to go out or to be virtual. Just invite your RSD on a VE call... isn't that the same ? What other pharma companies are allowing employees to sit home and do nothing - we can work virtual.
